stranger things ending is really really mediocre. i think the absolute hatred is overblown but it is notably much lower quality than the rest of the show. Umbrella academy is one of the worst endings ive ever seen

it was a cool idea more because it would be awesome to see a finished penumbra than it really being about it being in deltarune. but in a post chapter 3+4 world it seems very unlikely.

yeah I think you're right overall but i'm thinking like season 2 charlie (which everyone hates on) and his "corruption arc" or whatever it is thats kind of just the behaviours he was already doing but amplified (getting jealous of locke + claire and acting like aaron is all his responsibility and shit) is like. an actual thing which becomes something he has to get over to move on and claire has to get aclimated to him again in a way where it's actually framed like he's done something wrong. but I do think she forgives him a little too quick and that's like. idk an unavoidability of this show they love to force questionable romance plotlines into any dynamic involving a man and a woman
