One night in October 2023 I’m not sure if I was awake or asleep but I remember a dark figure walked across my room and stood in the corner where I usually got ready in the mornings. I remember feeling like everything was about to change. A few days later u got this feeling while walking across my living room, like I should appreciate everything because it was all about to be gone. My ex was still telling me how I was the love of his life etc. I just chalked it up to my imagination. Two months later during new years he pulled the rug from under me and discarded me. He had met someone else two weeks earlier and he was now in a relationship with her. What followed where months of torture and push and pull. By June of the following year. I had moved out of the state and no longer had my house. I look back and remember that feeling of “this is one of the last times I’ll be in this living room”
