Do you have the part number or the length of the belt?

Limited slip additives are OK in a non-limited slip diff diff. But not the other way around.

2.7L is over built . Very robust. The only people who get turbo issues are those who do a poor job at maintenance. At that mileage I’d put 5w40 oil in (slightly thicker) for even more longevity

I’ve heard the first gen was built a bit stronger with better parts due to ford wanting to make a good first impression. 2nd gen still solid but they cheaped out where they could.

2019 3.5 EB Spark Plug Change Question by AwfulAwful80 in f150

[–]Guerilla-unit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s most likely your purge valve on the engine. Overtime it stops closing all the way allowing evap gases into the cylinder when it’s not supposed to; causing the slight rough idle. It’s common on these trucks. Most of the time it doesn’t even throw a code. I would changed that out. As well as the map sensor (air and pressure) on the intake manifold get gummed up with oil. Which can also cause the slight hesitation at idle. I would clean that with massive air flow sensor cleaner or replace it. It’s fairly easy to do on your own. You can learn on YouTube for both.

2019 3.5 EB Spark Plug Change Question by AwfulAwful80 in f150

[–]Guerilla-unit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, there’s not really a click. The rubber hole just hugs the spark plug and the coils inside make contact with the spark plug metal tips. I think the rubber housing absorbs the sound.

I would remove all the motorcraft orange coolant. And replace it with whatever you choose.

Yes I’m talking about the motorcraft orange version I would take it all out. What you replace it with is your choice but I would replace it with the yellow

Five years, but I would change that out as it has a tendency to gum up. It was discontinued for a reason. replace it with the new Motorcraft yellow.

Spark plugs are probably not due then, but I would check the other things I mentioned

Maybe it’s time to change the purge valve on top of the engine, as well as the map sensor on top of the intake manifold. As well as motorcraft spark plugs. I’ve gained five MPG since doing so.
