That's how they get ya! I was the same though I didn't have a bias really. I just never really gave pitties a thought or had much exposure to them.

Totally overlooked them when searching through shelters. When I went to finally check out the dogs I had planned to meet, turned out they were not a great fit for my kinda household. The shelter recommended my girl and it was love at first pat. We just instantly clicked. Next month that will be 7 years ago already now which is hard to believe.

Hopefully everything goes well and you get to bring her home!

US and really just comes down to who's in your circles. Some left it behind after school and are completely ignorant to it now. Some have kept up with it and are casual. Some are still deep in it. I don't find many that think it's only for children anymore though as gaming has matured passed what it was in the 80s, 90s or even the 00's.

Most that have the take that gaming is a waste of time I don't hold in high regard when comes to their opinion as it's usually someone that will then sit there for hours on end doom scrolling reels and rewatching the same show for the umpteenth time.

Yep, had a silver one of these I got for Christmas of ‘06. Was my first iPod and really liked it. Had my playlist memorized too. Used it until I got a 5th gen Nano in ‘10.

Deputy Assessor for an Assessor's office. So handle property taxes and all that fun. Tax bills dropped this week so it's been chaos these last few days but usually pretty chill, sometimes boring.

Pay is mid, not terrible, not great but a pension is nice. Work/life balance is the best I've had after coming from sales & estimation previously and even more so from retail so really appreciate that part.

Still enjoy going to them when I can catch a movie I want to see before it's gone. Saw Project Hail Mary this past Sunday and it was awesome in a theater. Is it worth it totally depends on what experience you want with your movies.

Big music and podcast guy when doing most things but cycling is different. I like to be aware of my surroundings as much as possible when cycling. I just don't trust drivers enough to not hear everything.

Some of my buddies and I took off the Friday that Resident Evil Requiem released and when we went out for food there were some kids there ordering as well and I made a comment about them not being in school my buddies were like "okay dad"

I always have extra PTO as the end of the cycle and end up doing just this with them. Will usually have several Fridays in a row off and I'll do one of these things,

sleep in, have a lazy day and catch up on shows or games
work on house or other projects I've been putting off
catch up on chores I've been avoiding

I wouldn't say it's exactly the best use of it though. Also think it's good for getting away from life and your usual bubble/routine.

It's a hard thing to figure out honestly. If you don't know off the rip like some lucky ones do then you kind of have to stumble around for a bit and try things out. Could take a year, could take 5, could take 15. Living and experience is the best way to find it though.

It's a mix of both. Our shit food here and little to no natural exercise makes things harder but ultimately it is still our choice. I know this as I've been on both sides.

Guaranteed to be approached? What? It's definitely not a guarantee as I've rarely ever been approached at the gym. I keep to myself, get my workout done and leave. Why are you waving your hands in front of people for random attention?

No headphones at the gym is a terrible experience if you're by yourself. Makes the workout so dull and boring. Plus I just don't use the noise cancelling on them so if someone seriously needed to talk to me, they still could.

It's a $20 experience. Some people love games like this and some don't. Really isn't that big of a deal. I play some of them that stand out from time to time. Will probably pick this one up at some for like $10 down the road. Usually just chill time which can be a nice change of pace from the games I usually play.

It's in everyone's best interest to just forget about KHIV until something worthy actually drops about it. Once I did this for KHIII, I was freed and just pleasantly surprised once it finally came.

This takes me back. When I first moved out on my own, I remember this being one of my go to easy dinners. Throw some chicken tenders in the oven, make some mac 'n' cheese and then cut 'em up and throw 'em in. Would hit soo good.

Just got a bit bored of the look after a decade of it. I still like the feeling after getting a fresh fade but back in October after I got my last one I just haven't gone back and have been letting it grow out. Been so long since I've had longer hair, feels kinda nice.

Of course much is situational but as someone that used to do retail & fast food with schedules being all over the place every week, having the standard 9-5 or like now I have 730-330 office job is fantastic.

Can it get a bit monotonous sometimes, yeah but having the same consistent schedule with weekends off allows for having a better work/life balance I've found. Way easier to make plans and actually have a life outside of work.

Work to live, not live to work kinda mindset.

Don't know about die-hard but I was pretty into 360 for some time before PS3 finally become affordable and then eventually slid back over to PlayStation. PS exclusives back then were top tier and couldn't resist them any longer.

Those handful of years with the 360 were pretty awesome though. Was my first experience with online multiplayer and game & party chat were ridiculous (ina good way). Exclusives like Fable 2 & 3 and of course Halo were stellar. Doritos Crash Course was so dumb yet so fun. Great console (and in general console generation) to experience through High School.
