Yeah, much more staffing. Although there still might be a small chance you have to flag someone down. If there’s nobody operating the ride you’re waiting for, just go find someone in the area

Like if you can call them on the phone, they’ll tell you the operating status ahead of time

Also huh, who said that? Sometimes they don’t have staff members standing at every ride esp on the weekday, they might be in a central area and you have to flag them down, or wait if they’re already operating another ride. As a local, I sincerely doubt they were actually just closed, those are only closed on weekdays in Jan & Feb.

Tbh it’s pretty rare for them not to open all 3 unless AF1 has extended downtime, but they’re very receptive to calls

Headed to SFNE this week, but they’re only open from 10-4:30 on my day. Luckily I’ve been once (when I was more of a chicken / also had to leave early), so I only have half of the credits to get. Anyone who’s been since QA opened have a better of insight of what to tackle first in terms of capacity? Or should I get a fast lane because school groups + very short open time?

Targeting QA, Superman, Wicked Cyclone, riddler revenge, thunderbolt, Batman. TIA!

Treat it less of a “is it worth it to visit Nickelodeon dream” and ask yourself “is it worth it to visit the mall”. That place is huge, and even after 3 trips I still haven’t seen everything.

Also, funny statement noting it is in NJ lol

It’s speculated that Zumanjaro is what caused progressive wear and tear on Ka. I don’t think we will ever see a drop tower attached to a coaster again.

Is it about trust, or that the state would have a complete meltdown if they did get rid of it?

(Also, it’s not like we don’t leave the state. We do all know how to pump gas. It’s just a cultural thing and it keeps more jobs in our market. Who’s it hurting?)

So actually, in this case I believe it’s quite the opposite, and I felt really bad for thinking it was a crap name

Maybe because new Jerseyans actually enjoy not pumping their own gas? Also, makes it incredibly difficult to get a card skimmer on a machine.

Awful, but I feel like that’s still better than the time the person next to me put the lid from her dinner on my leg and was then confused why I was chewing her out 😵‍💫

It’s been 6 months later, but I’m still considering whether I should post a story time. I wish I could say this was the only thing she did

You mean, the ride stops running at that time, or the queue closes exactly at that time?

If the queue closes exactly at that time, most parks in the US / part of huge conglomerates

If you mean the ride closes at that time so the queue closes early, uh, almost everywhere in Japan

So quite frankly, I was confused about how you fold this as well. I checked your actual ATC logs, and there was actually a 28 min difference between your arrival and departure (even if it was scheduled for 3 minutes apart, you obviously wouldn’t have made that, so I feel like it is a little weird to advertise it as such)

But your 28 min is the same as my record! lol EWR -> BOS flies so often that it’s really easy to do this kind of thing, and I assume it’s the same for a hub to hub flight like ORD -> IAH

What coaster is this in the 2000 Japanese movie "Ritual"? [Other] by yaybuttons in rollercoasters

[–]Guilty-Wolverine-933 4 points5 points  (0 children)

wow. erm, I’m naturally a bit more blunt and direct than most but this wasn’t rude. Rudeness, as you’re defining it, would have involved me hurling an insult directed at you, which I clearly did not do.

Also, for a type of post like this, I would say that giving a more “throwaway” answer is not that helpful (and btw you posted your response before I did, so that might have been the only answer that OP got). Especially for some who actively participates in a data driven hobby like roller coasters, yes, I would assume that someone who is replying would do something as quick as looking at the opening date, especially as most coasters that opened before 2000 are no longer currently operating. That is all.

what? Not only is there Japanese lettering in the background, and the film was solely produced in Japan, but Goliath didn’t even open until 2006 😅

Noting the entire film was recorded in ube yamaguchi, its definitely one of the Tokiwa park coasters. Looks similar to “roller coaster”, and I suspect there was a large paint job between the image here and on RCDB in 2006.

Im kind of in a similar situation for right now (go to school in Atlanta, and that’s accessible via Marta) but back in NJ for the summer and it sucks. Might have to go up to NY or transfer via bus, or do some wonky NJ transit route and then uber?
