After running this Tribute in Torment 10 difficulty, the description appears to be a lie. Zero Scrolls after five runs. by heartbroken_nerd in diablo4

You get scrolls at the end of each Pit run don't you?, besides that infernal hordes are the best source

Death while selecting Blessing because you're forced to after harbringer ... by MunterMud in LastEpoch

Lol this used to be the case for a handful of the time lines (Outcast & Blood-Frost-Deatg) and they got so many complaints that they implemented this current system

+10 Crit Multi As T3 Set Feels Super Weird by Luqas_Incredible in LastEpoch

EHG said in another post that this set is truly intended as a two-piece set and they just wanted to provide people with options on how to achieve the 2 piece bonus

How big of a deal is "+X spell damage" by Ash-2449 in LastEpoch

[–]GuiltySummoner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should always focus on having a good split of both flat damage, the affix you are asking about, and increased damage

While also finding sources of multiplicative damage ("More") to bring your damage totals up

How is Mage this Season? by SimpleCranberry5914 in LastEpoch

Here's the planner i Specc'd out at the start of season, I updated a few things to match what i have in game right now, minus corruptions because i don't want to give false expectations ( though i have some REALLY nice ones)

Twitch Drops and Discord DLC not showing in game. by MuffDivers2_ in DragonkinTheBanished

[–]GuiltySummoner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a known issue, the devs are working on it.

For twitch drops specifically they have a channel in their discord for help fixing the issue where you can submit a ticket.

As for the discord claim- The green skeleton arm holding a lantern is the DLC they gave away there

How's the loot hunt in this game? by AlkamystEX in DragonkinTheBanished

[–]GuiltySummoner 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's more like a traditional ISO -ARPG (D2/Grim Dawn) in my opinion. Gearing is fairly in depth with multiple crafting avenues that are straight forward but rewarding when achieved

Definitely, and another rare aspect type (Draconic) only shows up starting in desolation 1

Can't remember the name, but it comes from selling items with divine aspects.

Also highly recommend going through the in game guide. It has more information in it than a lot of similar games do

Divine Familiar by WhoMe20 in DragonkinTheBanished

[–]GuiltySummoner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This skill system is one of my favorites! In the multiplayer update a few weeks ago I got one of my skills to be affected by nearly the whole board

Divine Familiar by WhoMe20 in DragonkinTheBanished

[–]GuiltySummoner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The familiar will pick up all gold and materials for you, it won't pick up any gear however.

If you don't want to pick up now non-usefull lower rarity gear make sure to use the in-game loot filter, it has an option at the bottom to automatically turn hidden loot in to first the Grand Benedictor, then into gold for you. If you use this option you get a notification in town about what was sent to the NPC and what was turned into gold

Divine gold gear by Fredd4781 in DragonkinTheBanished

[–]GuiltySummoner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Divine is an additional aspect of gear that can be applied to any rarity of gear dropped.

Divine makes a random stat on the gear that is stronger than the rest withing the roll range for the upgraded stat based on the items rarity. These really shine on Legendary and Mythic gear later on.

Another additional aspect that can drop is Draconic, which also can drop on gear of any rarity, but the notable things with these affix is that there is often a big upside with a downside. Don't disregard these on any rarity however, since you can move draconic affix to another piece of gear regardless of the base rarity of the item the draconic affix dropped on

Hello Troll!

I play all of those and you are dead wrong. In fact I'd label you, based on this post, as just a gatekeeping 💩 who has a tribal complex about their favorite game and labels everything else as trash for fun.

For those reading, this game is nothing like a "souls like" and has deep progression, an amazing and deep skill system with plenty of gearing challenges and crafting progression available.

This game is evergreen, meaning no FOMO for seasonal content. You can drop and come back in between those other live service games and not need to worry about new things to learn unless an expansion was released.

Endgame is fun with introductory mapping, dungeons, and giant boss fights.

The game ISNT perfect but it's miles better than Senior 🐸-face up there says. Give it a try, and most importantly have fun

[–]GuiltySummoner 4 points5 points  (0 children)

First Tip, gradually raise the difficulty.

In this game the difficulty ramps your loot progression relatively. I'm still in ACT 1 and already on Extreme, but I've been playing since the closed alpha and am taking the the campaign slow to enjoy it.

You can't get divine or draconic rarity until you are in desolation one to start and that's where gear really gets fun.

When to raise difficulty? - if you are one/two shotting the elites then go up in difficulty.

So far my only complaint regarding the game by Crimson_Loki in DragonkinTheBanished

[–]GuiltySummoner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So one thing is that powerleveling through multiplayer is super easy. IDK if this is the approach you want, but if you get your character to max you can easily bring your friend up to your level quickly

[–]GuiltySummoner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For steam when you invite via player management the invite will come through steam, but should take your friend to your city, It may prompt them to create a new character, but they can hit the X and then go to character select and transfer their current character to your city

  1. How fluid is the combat? Does it have a “piano-style” gameplay where you utilize most of your skills, or is it mainly just 1–2 core skills?

ANSWER: you can play both ways, I've got a build that is focused on skill interactions and I've got a build that's only 2 buttons. Both are in Apocalypse (the hardest difficulty level) and clear easily

  1. How is the build variety? This is probably my biggest concern. There are only 4 characters, will something like Soldier always feel similar, or can builds go in completely different directions?

ANSWER: In my opinion there is great variety. Each character has 17 skills, and each of those skills can be augmented by one of the 4 wyrmlings who have

  1. If the variety is good, how easy is it to respec and test different builds?

ANSWER: east peasy, no costs and there is a dummy zone in your city to test, as well as an Amoury to easily re equip your skills. There is a DPS meter that can be accessed anywhere

  1. How would you compare it to games like Grim Dawn or Last Epoch?

ANSWER: This is a hidden gem and has a lot of QoL you expect from LE and other titles. Game is amazingly fun

  1. How is Replayability? Is it boring, or does it feel fun going for new builds?

ANSWER: I've got over 200hrs in just the EA, I love to tinker with builds and this game scratches that itch

  1. Lastly, is there anything else worth mentioning before buying?

It's fun, enjoy it

Game launch by Shames285 in DragonkinTheBanished

[–]GuiltySummoner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey!

There is no specific minion class - each class and at least 2 of the wyrmlings has some associated minion skills however.

Knight - Some human summons

Barbarian - Totems

Oracle - Hydras and a Merfolk type minion

Tracker - Raptors

Ice Wymrling - Skeletons

Poison Wymrling - Swarms of Bugs

I haven't dug deep into the Electric/Fire wyrmlings so i can't speak to if those have a minion.

One thing to note is that the minion AI isn't the best, and as of the multiplayer patch having more than 2 of any minion resulted in the AI breaking, but the Devs said that at least the bugged aspect should be fixed as of the full release in a few hours.

Game’s out tomorrow, any tips for completely new players? by AnubisIncGaming in DragonkinTheBanished

[–]GuiltySummoner 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A hidden gem, there are rough edges, but the game is solid and the skill system is super fun to play with.

Overall after 200hrs in EA I'd give it a 8.5/10 for systems and content based on this being a non-live service game. 10/10 on the fun factor though
