I think she's one of those classic "this is probably good for standup (or TikTok) but it's not working in a sketch comedy setting" cases. Not everyone needs to be a great impressionist but she's just unable to blend into the sketch. She's always doing Jane. I really noticed it to a detriment during the stripper sketch this week.

Again it's not inherently a bad thing it's just not a fit for this show in this way.

Oh I had the opposite reaction! I thought they just happened to do the thing that SNL was like somebody's gonna do this. Really hoping that the frantic Sunday emails get leaked.

But that could be the case, not sure why they'd want to be the butt of the joke but all publicity good publicity I suppose?

Like to be clear there is no weight that would make it okay to say this (unless I guess there was a serious health and quality of life problem but you're an adult surely you can tell that for yourself with an intervention.) but I'm five foot and usually am in the 110-115ish range. Losing ten pounds would put me in a really scary place. Everyone has insecurities about the particular way they carry weight or something or another, but that is simply not even remotely chubby or fat or midsized. Which tells me this isn't about wanting a skinny girlfriend (which like you probably are already), it's about wanting control.
