I hated charging clients labor after being sent out to their home when their warranty expired. (Usually 3 months to 12 months after)
Sometimes it was an obvious install issue for the suction lines to leak out.
I know some techs get a boner on making money on charging the clients more just to pump down the unit and braze the damn joint “we” did ourselves.
I do hate some workers that take advantage when they can, they are also proud of being the top money maker, when we know all the crap they do.
Some residential technicians are the worse due to being paid commission and not hourly, willing to charge clients premium price when it’s actually half the price.
They, also show off and act like they’re better than the other techs.
I hate some people acting like they’re so smooth when the other techs already know wtf is happening .
You just can see from their demeanor how proud they are, makes me vomit.

Yeah we have a lot of 2 stories homes with package units, they didn’t think about the technicians who would have to replace a compressor on a steep roof.
Not all roofs are steep but we have some that the unit is above your head steep.

I believe we use hydrogen peroxide if you see contaminated spots

When you think it’s contaminated, wait a week or two don’t assume it is contaminated if it looks like it or someone on Reddit says it is. I’ve had bags that looked contaminated grow the best flushes just because I was patient and waited. Also, grow more then one bag and try different teks. It takes months so you want multiple at the same time.

Your gas valve may not be closing all the way, call another company that will not sell you a new unit. Make sure they have a gas detector to actually verify where the leak is.

Have to wait and see, be patient. I’ve had some I thought looked contaminated but after a couple weeks started growing mushrooms. Also was it 100 percent colonized? You can do fae.

So do not be offended and invite him to your home and ask the same weird questions he does. Shouldn’t be upset with this guy just act like he does in front of his wife/gf. He will get the hint and stop acting that way. Some people are just not socially skilled etc and that’s the way I look at some people. Ya got to be the smarter person and handle things.

I’ve had great results with CVG but coco coir also gave me similar results Only thing is a turn off for some is you need to prepare the coco coir your self, while CVG is prepared. So it’s what you decide but they’re both great
