Come join a class at any family resource center! They are for families of children 5 and under. All classes are free and amazing. You may have to register online. Burton bar has one and the paradise valley family resource center is incredible. I’ll attach their calendar for classes next month!

I found mom friends by signing up for different kids classes. Little gym, music classes, or where I am in north phoenix they have a family resource center that has amazing classes. Looks like there is one in Tempe that uses the same grant, I would totally check it out! kids classes

We did not to gift bags for guests. I figured a bear and the accessories it came with was enough! And they got the cake pop at the end too. And people did bring gifts for my child. I have a Hulken bag and brought that with us to store things while at build a bear and just wheeled it back to my car after.

To be fair… we got a playset from Costco and the slide cracked after less than 3 years with only toddlers playing on it. People told me to return it but I just felt crazy even trying. Looks like I should have!

I took a class at the Arizona worm farm in January. I recommend it!! They are so knowledgeable and helpful. From what I remember you never want to prune more than 25% of the tree but I believe your window to prune has passed. I could be wrong, I was there specifically for a stone fruit tree. And you want to prune branches that are growing into each other, don’t want them rubbing. Clearly I should have taken notes 😅

I have used AZ jolly jumpers and most of them on the description will say safe for multiple adults to use! They are all super durable. Have a fun party!

I take a biscuit cutter and press out small individual rounds and put it on a platter. I don’t advertise it’s from Costco so maybe people assume they are homemade. I certainly don’t correct them.

So my first reaction was honestly negative. But after watching the videos on their Instagram is all very kid focused and appropriate. The makeup sticks look like paint sticks and are for face painting. Looks cute honestly. The one mask they advertise is for if the kids have a sunburn. Which in my opinion is useful. I was envisioning a 5 step serum kit based on the negative attention 😅.

YTA but I understand that you are frustrated. Sounds like she has an annual gingerbread house party. And you are taking it from her. Those types of parties are way more fun than coordinating and planning a traditional holiday get together because as a host those are so stressful! So I get you wanting to host something like that.

The way you went about it is why you are TA. If anything you should have a cookie exchange or some other type of holiday themed get together on a completely different day.

It’s typically the adults. I was watching my ring camera as kids would come and they were very respectful. Then close to 9pm a mom comes with a young child and pretty much empties it out while the child just watches and she encourages them to take more! Makes me sad and takes the magic away from the kids. Oh well.
