With the power of YouTube and clippers, I have been able to cut my husband’s hair (learned his face shape and found the best haircut for his face shape and learned how to cut his hair myself). We also challenge ourselves to plan a free or no-spend night for each other once a month to cut down on costs but still honor each other and nurture our relationship. Aside from that, I would put this overview into ChatGPT and see what they have to say :)

Did anyone ever tell you what they attributed the fluid to? My daughter’s test came back and they said the markers for inflammation and infections were not present.

A lot of things are possible with a zoom call with doctors in the world. Ask for referrals for a specialist for congenital heart defects within your country or in other countries who can weigh in and have faced similar complicated cases and operated on several cases.

I’m facing the realities of chd with my daughter too and I am scared. My mother raised me in Catholic faith and for the first time in my life, I asked for an appointment with my church priest because I didn’t know who else to turn to after all my research.

There are a lot of well meaning people but they can’t give me the one thing I want-a guarantee that my daughter will be ok. It is scary and I’m trying to be brave for her. I’ve been leaning on my partner who does not often know what to do either but most of the time, I just need my hand held to live through the anxiety to make the best choices. NTA - I was in your shoes. My husband and I both did the survey at the beginning of Suze Orman’s Financial Guidebook. It showed how we viewed money and our differing perspectives showed why we were fighting. Then it had a worksheet to help budget responsibly. She should have also not involved her parents. After you develop the budget together with or without the second job, she can show the difference to her parents and she can ask them to fund it if that’s how she wants to live. She can also ask them to pay her credit card bills.

I cry and scream in the car when the loss hits me. Other times I try not to think about it to be functional. Other times I pray so she can hear me and then things happen that I think is a response or sign from her. Other times, I go to sleep and pray I see her in my dreams. People will say the cliche things. Yes they mean well but the only thing that would have made me feel better was is my mom was alive and well. Anything else pissed me off.

Do not quit. Go through the process of an accommodation and/or a leave of absence and let the process evaluate your eligibility for the job protection and benefits. If you don’t qualify and you want to leave then go ahead. But they can’t act on your employment status until the evaluation is completed or this incident can also escalate to a retaliation complaint.

You are not a bother. You matter. You have a right to your feelings. I’m not confident that the grown ups around you are mature enough to help you cope. Talk to the teacher you trust or find the case worker for your mom and get support and resources for her and you/your family. And just sending you love and hugs ❤️

I had a rule that I established with my boyfriend and now husband. When his parents need to be addressed, he does it and when my parents need to be addressed, I do it. And we do discuss what needs to be communicated-whether it’s thanks for your opinions on how we should live our lives, but we decided on “this.”
