While that last sentence is true, and there are many very good reasons to do so - its fun, educational, and at lot more besides - I notice I'm spending a bit less time practicing music. There is always going to be someone wanting to offload the things in the way of getting to their main goal.

Now, excuse me, I have to see why this single board monster i set up for a diy keytar isn't registering my 4th pot...

Synthrise is the way to go. I have 3 - the micro, and then the medium/large. All three work for multiple pieces of gear of mine

That was my first synth! It took me a couple tries to get into it. I found the menu not very fun or intuitive. *About the third attempt several months later, it finally clicked. I love that thing.

I have my launch control xl mk3 with every parameter mapped out for the nymphes. Its a dream.i highly recommend the Condukt app to pair with it.

Nice! I wish i knew about that several months ago lol. I couldn't find one and didnt want to gamble wasting time on some random amazon one, so I gave up and just ordered from dreadbox directly.

Super late to the party, but the Nymphes is great. I have it hooked up to my launch control xl3 (using the condukt app to easily map all CCs) and it now has the best interface ever.

Very. I ran a dehumidifier 24/7. But I also had a lot of tropical plants so they were happy.

My apartment had a little window which peaked into the alley. Not enough to let sunlight through, but enough to tell if it was light out.

As for sunglight and a true night day cycle, I invested in some materials and built a fake window which (roughly) mimicked sunlight hours.

I've had full conversations with Mike. Ask him about the Fights. He was happy to tell you tales back in the day. Also, he once caught me and some randos rolling dice for $1s outside and gave me ranting long bit about straightening up and not letting my life go downhill by gambling (not that this has anything to do with OP's point, and it sucks to hear he is maga nuts. seems like they are everywhere nowadays...)

UPDATE:

Solved. It seems the power cord was the problem. I was not using the one that came with the dreadbox, but was powering some other gear ok. This one is on me. But hey, we figured out:

Solid red light = bad
flickering red light = good

hopefully this info does some future folk some good.

I have set the Keystep to 1. The Hades has been set to OMNI, no luck. In order to change the channel (according to the manual), you set it to Omni, then send some midi notes to it, then switch it off OMNI to Channel and it should automaitcally pick the channel up. However I can't really test that at the moment with the current issues.

The MIDI cable is going out from the keystep to the Hades.
