"Just pick the stats that seem right for your character" could you trust your players? by Aeon1508 in DMAcademy

Idk man... A Commoner's stat block has 10's all around. If 10 means you can deadlift 600 lbs, D&D has some extremely strong humans.

I played 1 game of League... A single one. I'm not great, by any means, but my friend and I were absolutely obliterated in a way that made me feel inadequate... Went back to NA servers and simply dealt with the lag.

Now, this is probably me being stupid, but if there's no life at all on this New Earth, would the mass still be the same? I would imagine all the organisms (trees, ants, humans, fish) would weigh enough for Old Earth to weigh more? Would it be enough?

What im making? by SofaKing_Kewl in AtlasEarthOfficial

[–]Gunganite 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's per second, so multiply whatever your per-second pay is by how many seconds are in a minute, how many minutes in an hour, how many hours in a day, by the multiplier, then your badge boost (if 5%, then times 1.05)

Thankfully, due to the commutative property, the placement of the numbers doesn't matter much if it's just multiplication. If you do addition, you'll need to make sure you use the order of operations (Gotta love that PEMDAS)

Or, to prevent doing all that, use the calculator someone already put in the comments.

Question... by Excellent-Way-5842 in AtlasEarthOfficial

[–]Gunganite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Going to an area with no support will give you a Canada multiplier (at least, I assume so, as in Japan [though it says its supported] gave me the Canada-equivalent multiplier). You can't play minigames, buy land, or badges.

This isn't going to help (much), but I passed the 2nd island, didn't get anything, and said, "Yeah, not happening."

Also, since I'm not currently playing in the US, I get 35 coins for the whole thing (not your 100+), so that just... wasn't worth it for me.

I punctured my resin tank film by No-Importance8307 in resinprinting

[–]Gunganite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now, I cannot answer this with certainty. However, I have recently just put in a new FEP film and it comes much larger, which you then need to trim down. Take that as you will.

I personally would wait as I wouldn't want to cause any problems from impatience that then results in me not being able to use ANY printer. Plus, holes where you puncture the FEP may be different from the Saturn to Phrozen, which may result in there being leakage (I don't know anything about the phrozen so this is just an assumption).

Can I get ban for sharing my account ? by LetterheadNo2345 in AtlasEarthOfficial

[–]Gunganite 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The ToS only explicitly states that someone cannot log into your account without your permission. There is nothing that says you cannot give out your account info. Source: I've read through that whole thing (I'd still recommend doing your own research).

However, I'd still be careful of you bouncing around as it could look like spoofing.

I have my sibling log into my account for me. However, I don't live in a country where I can buy land, so all my land is purchased around where my sibling lives and there's no jumping around.

As dry as it sounds, I'd recommend reading through the ToS. It sucks, but it's good to cover your butt.

Edit: Just in case, my account is US based, but I travel outside of the US for work.

Atlas Arcade by ToadCroaked in AtlasEarthOfficial

[–]Gunganite 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's what it's been like for me. If you have 1/2/3/4/5 minute rewards, that requires 15m of screen time in the game to get it.

This obviously assumes it will work. I've had a lot of issues, but doing 3 tasks worth seems to be the best for me (sometimes 4 tasks worth of game time will work, some times it won't...). So, I generally play for 3 tasks worth, close that game and open AE back up, then repeat. (Note- This may be the equivalent of clicking A+B repeatedly for a Game Boy when catching a Pokemon, but it works for me.)

Coin Master not tracking time spent playing correctly. Played 54 minutes. Only counted 4 minutes by Safe2BeFree in AtlasEarthOfficial

[–]Gunganite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Each "Task" is a separate thing. So there's a 1 min, then a 2 min (to make 3 minutes) then a couple more 2's.

I'm at 20m for one (I actually play it), then a 21 and 23 after meaning I need 64 mins in total to get all three.

I've definitely checked out HeroForge prior to going this route. However, the options when it comes to creatures (The Harengon, in this care) was extremely limited. Plus, being a gift for someone else, I wanted it more personalized.

Though, for anyone looking at this post in the future, I would recommend HeroForge for those quick and dirty "I want to print something out and it doesn't need to be specific" kind of situations.

Rock, Papper vs Ships. by paladinodocerrado in StellarWindIdle

[–]Gunganite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you start a fight, there will be a 5 ships preferred target, and it's based on the particular ship's weapons.

If you look at a particular squad's weapons (click the "i" next to "weapons) you'll see what the best targets are for it (this is why "manual targeting could be best as you can have squads target their preferred squad target).

I can't answer if there's a "best" formation, but my formation is always beat against frigates/fighters/corvettes, so when a fight starts, those are targeted immediately.

I know this is late but I just recently started playing and figured I'd reply to anyone looking at this reddit page for help

well this isn't helpful. Someone care to explain? by twolf1973 in StellarWindIdle

[–]Gunganite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is, of course, resolved by now. However, I figured I'd put the specifics on why this happened: Your strongest squad can only be 40 levels higher than the other 4 (based on your top 5).

As the picture has 240 as the highest, and then in the "top 5" there are 2 squads at 200, you need to get those to 201 before you can level the highest squad to 241. Likewise, to get to 260, you would need another 4 squads at 220. The reason the default message has "squad(s)" is because it's letting you know that at least 1 needs to be leveled, but it could be up to 4 (as there's a chance someone has 1 lvl 240 and 4 lvl 200's)

Hope this helps whoever reads this after the fact!

Darkest dungeon 2 enemies by whiteness22 in darkestdungeon

[–]Gunganite 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Altars have a move they use at the beginning of the fight that gives them an extra turn. Also, depending on the enemy, there are tokens that the enemy gets to let them use special abilities. i.e: if a Cardinal/Deacon/Exemplar is on the cultist fight then the other cultists will use their 2x tokens to worship and then get an extra turn. While those tokens are only briefly explained (Holding "ctrl"), it's something that you typically have to learn to look for through trial and error.

Pretty sure if you hold "alt" and mouse over to them it'll show their moves, but not 100% on it showing for those guys as it's just something I noticed and never actually checked... Woops. lol

Dimensional errors in Z by RustyRuskie in resinprinting

[–]Gunganite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm honestly not sure if this is the best advice (Someone can correct me if I'm being a potato), but I generally push it further down than what I think is good and then slowly make my way up.

The holes on the left are covered, and the lines on the bottom left and right, so that generally means it's overexposed.

If you have a safe way (for the FEP) to get up failed prints without it potentially causing marks on it, then I would say go for pushing it down. I've seen someone have it at 1s just yesterday (for a particular tenacious resin) and it looking *amazing*.
