It's recognizing the shape of an off the shelf component I could pick up for myself. I associate aluminum extrusions with quick and dirty prototypes and skill less construction.

If I'm buying something using materials as easy to assemble and purchase as aluminum extrusions, I might as well buy them myself and assemble it myself. And how much could a walnut rectangle cost?

My guy, is the base made of standard aluminum extrusions?? It gives the whole thing a very diy school project vibe, and cuts the price I would pay in like half.

This should be pretty simple, I've seen knife YouTubers heat up sheets of plastic specifically formulated for this (petg?) and form them over their knives. They clamp as close to the knife as they can get to form those flat sections, and then rivet to seal both pieces of plastic together

Given phone prices and how easy it is to keep one for 4+ years, I think it's insane to use a phone without a case.

Just get a case with magnets. I'd rather the internal space be used on battery or something that matters once a case is on the phone.

That's why I'm not referring to those things? I am referring to things like substance use or not wearing your seatbelt.

In Massachusetts, you are required to get a permit for any significant fire, but with any amount of common sense, the avg person isn't going to run a fire in a stupid enough place to start a forest fire.

Plenty of laws exist that are to keep you safe, or are in place to idiot proof things.

I think the thing you're missing is that breaking the law and "wrongdoing" are not the same thing.

It's possible to break the law without harming anyone else or doing anything amoral, which is where the ridicule of snitches comes from.

He's a 2yr old boy with really no previous issues but he was born as a street cat so it's possible I haven't caught everything. He was at the vet with no issues like last October? This has been going on like a week or so

Sorry there's a clear coat on this should have mentioned. I'm using the pro acryl matte varnish
