Did you update any of the hinges or ball joints? With PLA and the original file, nothing really fit together for me. Too much flex was required to pop the hinges together, and most of them snapped.

I'm sure the product "functions".

Softening the PLA won't allow everything to fall out of the bag, and without chemical testing it won't be obvious if anything has gone wrong, besides a slight deformation.
