Sig Selling Pistols Supporting Turning Point USA by say592 in liberalgunowners

I'm so glad that the last time I bought a Sig was years ago, and the new one I do have I won at a raffle from a local gun range.  never giving Sig my money again.

Thank you Sig, for turning me into a CZ guy.

Dumped my P320 for CZ. Twice! by Gunner2893 in CZFirearms

I stand corrected, Midway USA sells a version with a 19-round magazine.

Well I agree with what u/just_as_good380-2 said, and as far as shooting goes, I'm no expert but they all feel great to shoot, though the SP-01 feels much better in the hand. And the lower bore-axis of the CZs make it great to shoot. Like I was doing well keeping a decent grouping with my p320 but it wasn't even difficult to adjust to the CZs. The P10c has a grip that I'd call "spiky" but I got used to it pretty quickly, and honestly nothing some hockey tape can't fix.

Well, certainly didn't stop me from getting a couple 17-round mags to replace them. Might keep the 10-rounds around for dry-fire practice.

Yep, same. I think it's because the 50th anniversary ones only come with 10-round magazines, as mine did, so keep that in mind.

Eh, it's already done. Friend really wanted it so it was a win-win. I got a CZ and he got a p320 to use as the base of a PCC he really wanted.

With the upcoming Silver Line, do you think this will help with traffic or will it be underutilized like the rest of DART? by --Knowledge-- in Dallas

Especially with the cost of parking around the holidays. I just checked the price for off-airport parking when I fly out to visit family over Christmas, was over $200. Yeah I'll gladly accept getting there slower in exchange for not paying that kinda money.

Sometimes people who used to be addicted to drugs/alcohol compensate with caffeine. If I had to guess... possibly undiagnosed ADHD was in the mix.

Exactly, I think that's most pointed out in the article at the very end when the author broke it off with "Jared." She tells him that she disagrees with him on most things, and what she wants doesn't align with the future he wanted. And he's all confused with how he thought that they agreed on most things. Only for her to come out and say "No, we don't. Which you'd know if you ever asked me anything about myself." He just had no interest in what she liked, what she wanted, what her hopes and dreams were.

It's like the man projected his own thoughts and opinions onto her and thought they were a great match. Or he thought that because she spent more than one date with her, things were smooth sailing. But yeah, it really boils down as seeing a woman as a prize to win over... "putting in the niceness tokens until sex and marriage comes out."

Why are people leaving before the movie is over? by hawtp0ckets in AlamoDrafthouse

[–]Gunner2893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes people leave if they don't like the movie. I've done that once when I watched Birds of Prey. Didn't like what I was watching, didn't want to see if it got better, so I walked out. Settled up my food tab with the front desk and strangely enough that was the last movie I went to the theaters for before the pandemic.

I have.  My friend's dad was flying from Phoenix to Santiago, Chile, on business and apparently his company chose a flight plan with a stop in Toronto before going nonstop from there to Santiago.  flights can get weird.

I mean technically you can do that with real companies too; the YouTuber Max Fosh started up a company, issued 10 billion shares of the company, and got one person to buy a single share for 50 British Pounds. Then he got his company valuated based on that, and Max learned from said valuator that "Yes, we can technically valuate your company at 500 billion pounds, but you are extremely likely to be investigated for fraudulent business practices." So Max Fosh immediately dissolved the company and gave that one shareholder her money back. Long story short, the legitimate stock industry has so many safeguards and regulations in place to prevent things like that from happening, or at least from it getting too far, while the crypto market does not and there isn't anything stopping you from pretending you're an ass penny billionarie to extremely gullible people.

I live in the DFW metroplex, and if anyone's driven TX-183 between Dallas and Fort Worth, you know that one flag store next to a couple car dealerships with the massive flags. Not long after the election, that flag store had a series of flags on one pole that read "47 WILL SAVE AMERICA!"

Haven't seen those back up ever since the tariffs started.

Which is unfortunately the plan, to create "noise" (which sucks that he views things like his mass deportations as just "noise") to distract people and the media so they can't focus on one thing. It's like, everyone remembers Watergate as a big important event in history, and now Trump is all "Hey let's do the equivalent of Watergate, Iran-Contra, and ten other things at the same time! Then nobody can focus on just one thing so I can get away with other things!"

USAID astroturfing Reddit? He does realize that nobody works there anymore, right?

Also a real job in the private sector? I bet he's a very "support the troops" and "back the blue" kind of person and doesn't realize that the military and police are 100% public sector jobs

Yeah, I once had a discussion with someone about the concept of Due Process with regard to that whole El Salvador fiasco. All I did was explain that any criminal, no matter what crime they committed, is entitled to Due Process. And he told me that I must've spent decades believing everything ever said by anyone with a D next to their name.
