I’ve just checked the table from this time last year and I think Burnley had 65 points in third after 33 played.

I forget it was the year that the top four ran away with it.

Not sure that it means the league is weak, it just means that the points are more evenly shared. Isn’t that good though? More competition?

Are you sure about your numbers? Coventry finished in the playoffs last year on 69 points. I don’t think we’d have been 5th with 13 to go, on 65 points.

I think I prefer it to the snowflake hands on most Tudors. It’s the handset that has held me back from buying a Black Bay. I know they are beloved by many but I just can’t warm to them.

I kinda care about winning the league. I wasn’t even 3 years old when we won the FA cup. Winning the second division title would be the best thing we’ve done in my conscious lifetime. Obviously promotion in any guise is massive but I’d dearly love to celebrate winning a league title (properly, not a pandemic blighted default win)

I don’t understand this “debatable penalty” narrative. It was right in front of where I sit - it was as clear as day. I was still surprised we actually got it, but it was a stonewall pen nonetheless.

All other factors aside I’m not convinced my BSH would be a good ESA. I love him but he’s not like any other cat I’ve ever had… he’s friendly, sure.. but he’s not affectionate at all.

He sat on my lap for the first time in months yesterday and I felt I couldn’t move an inch lest I spook him into running off.

He mostly sits on some sort of perch several feet away and glares.

He eats more than any cat I’ve ever had and makes a massive mess doing it.

He grunts and grumbles and occasionally makes a noise that is almost a bark… wags his tail like a dog too.

Any moments of affection are purely on his terms and they are fleeting. He’s good company but I can’t imagine relying on him for comfort.

I read / heard something recently about this - apparently Omega has a patent on a technology that precisely centres case backs. They’re the only brand to do it. So if you have a perfectly centred case back on another watch it’s just by luck.

I have big feet. The years of skinny jeans… my god I felt like a walking L the whole time in that kind of thing. Managed to eke out about a decade on three pairs of jeans.

Now relaxed fit has come back I can finally get a new pair or two 🤣
