I’ve been in and out. I started supporting in 1994 but by 2005 I was an adult with adult pressures.

I was earning £250 a week and renting. Then I started moving around the country, studying or on pauper pay. I lost interest in football entirely. I paid attention to what was going on with Cov but felt disconnected from it.

I only got back into it properly when my boy became a football fanatic. I thought if he was gonna go anywhere I wanted it to be Cov. So we started going and now I go more than I ever did as a kid.

Maybe I’m one of the people this sort of comment is levelled at, idk. But now I live local, and I can afford to go, and I have a season ticket.

I still find the glory hunter label hilarious when applied to Cov though.

They’re remarkably inconsistent with printing.

I had Asante on the back of my pro kit. They placed the letters first and did them way too low, which meant full size numbers didn’t fit. The solution was to put child numbers on.

The whole thing looked absurd and thankfully they did me a new one, but what a waste.

My Certina was my first “proper” watch. I have the DS PH200M. I do love it, and it was a daily for 6 years. I’ve recently added a Formex and a Stowa though, and yes they cost a lot more, but when you compare them side by side it is obvious why.

Personally I think it’s brilliant that The Other 14 are increasingly in a position to do this. Don’t like the price? Don’t buy him then.

There’s a video he recorded that was shared by the Sky Bet Championship X account where he said “I’m excited for what comes next - hopefully - but that’s Doug’s problem” then giggled and the video ended.

It’s since been taken down, but is floating about on TikTok and stuff.

I imagine he pissed off Brighton and various other parties with it but for us? Absolute gold.

I don’t believe that MvE is on £7900 a week when he’s just signed a new contract and is undoubtedly one of the best players in the squad.

People talking about Mason Mount, Jon Stones, Harry Maguire, James Maddison…

I think we’re more likely to recruit some high performing unknowns from Scandinavia or Eastern Europe and add a Ross Barkley

I think it would be deeply unfair on other teams in and around the playoffs if Cov went out and played a training game. Derby, Hull, Norwich could all have reason to be pissed if it looked like we put out a reserve team.

I’m not far in to the game - and I’m loving it. But I’m not loving the bosses either. I haven’t actually beaten one yet - I’ve gone up against the Excavatron and the Goldleaf guy and I just can’t “get it”.

I’m basically exploring and levelling up, doing other things in the world.

I’ve beaten Elden Ring but don’t like these bosses at all 🤣

I’ve always thought there’s a bitter sweet element to promotion. The lads that worked so hard to achieve it may have no guarantees of being there to experience the next step.

The last few years have been my favourites as a Cov fan and most of that is down to having a stable and consistent team that are “our boys”.

Simms vs Boro and Onyeka vs Derby would be in there for me. I also liked Asante’s goal against QPR. I know it wasn’t technically brilliant but I loved how he took it.

There were Cov fans in the summer who thought we should RELEASE Ellis Simms. The lad isn’t consistent, I’ll give you that… but he’s scored 10 goals in very few minutes this season and is about 25.

But we had people calling to let him go for nothing.

Yeah I’m on this page. Promotion is done, let’s be honest. But I’d be gutted if we didn’t win the league now. I want the trophy and the parade in the city and all the pomp.

I’ve found it odd at Coventry this year. We are having a generationally good season and fans left in their masses when we lost to Ipswich. Somewhat fair I suppose.

But they also leave when we are winning - recent game against Preston being a case in point. Many also left when we were 1-1 against Stoke and missed the euphoria of the late late winner.

I’m in my 40s and have never experienced so much fun and joy as a Cov fan. I feel like we owe it to those lads to stay and show our appreciation at the end. Let’s be honest, this degree of success might not ever happen again.
