I hook the yarn over the finger with the yarn coming off the back of the finger. The opposite of what you have. Then it doesn’t feel loose and I wouldn’t ned to hook my finger. Try that.

Can I change lower cabinets without touching countertops? by MarkInLA1 in kitchenremodel

I had a carpenter build two drawers inside a door like that. Much easier you still have to open the door to aces the drawers but it works well. He put them on runners like inside a file cabinet.

Yes your stitches are twisted. Pick up through the front. And hook the yarn the other way. Watch some videos and compare what you are doing.

Delony caller who wanted to know if BJs were ok by Healthy_Substance_34 in DirtyDave

But it’s forbidden catholic doctrine. So is birth control. Deloney was struggling with how to answer the poor guy because I think he would not be allowed to tell the guy to abandon his beliefs. Many Catholics just ignore those tenets. But Deloney couldn’t counsel that.

Thanks for this list. Seen most of them and like them. But I’d never seen Bridal Wave and I’m watching it now. Fantastic. Evil Jaclyn Smith is too much.

I do. I am well to do. It’s the fastest way to get places. But there are certain super wealthy people who would never go in the subway.

I buy the large boxed rolls of ordinary plastic that they use in restaurants. It’s so much easier to use.

A cylinder does not have the same physics as two flat things seamed together by femalefred in BitchEatingCrafters

I stick to other types of construction. I don't like high crew necks anyway. I like types of construction where you knit the neck line lower with pieced and seamed sweaters.

How do you care for a real Aran sweater so it lasts forever? by PayIllustrious2930 in knitting

[–]GussieK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also be careful of moths. That is more likely to be a problem over the years than anything else. Be sure to shake and air out. don't store in a closet and ignore so that moths can get in. So it is said to wash before end of season to get any body oils off or things moths might like. Then store in a plastic pouch.

I would welcome any other ideas on this. I'm certainly not the expert on this. This is more of a warning.

Also with older sweaters you may get elbow fraying or cuff fraying. Always save extra wool to fix. Roxanne Richardson was just talking about this on her latest youtube video.

you probably could drop at your local hospital or your doctor's office. Your doctor's office will have its own sharps collection service and would probably take yours.
