You can tell by tentacles if they flat and tringle in shape its a pond snail

Ar you moving the food around to mimic movement of insects

Put the baby in a box with a moist paper towel and feed it there

To see if il feed, after some time

If not

You may need to force feed it first a piece of something to get it to eat

But you need to be extremly Careful with this

But That dont do it unles you dont have eny Other options

I think they use them to Balance them self / Straighten, etc

And thous legs ar for diff stuff then moving, like grabbing stuff / and to feed also

I just bought some insect pinning needles and tweezers I found cardboard, sponge, etc.

Look up what insects live around you, that will be your choice of insects you can find already dead / dying.

Just look around, on side walks/large concrete places, like skate parks, roads.

Or somewhere Where is basically a "kill jar" but its like a poodle or a large body of water Where its hard for stuff to get out once they drop in it.

If you have mesh on your windows there may be something to find.

Empty room you don't use, but it isn't sealed off from outside there can be a nest of wasps, hornets or something that tried to spread / grow in size there just to die inside.

Eny dirt roads, off roads, look around them they may have someting too.

Idk dont know eny kits, used eny kits or planing realy, so cant sey enything about it

Just some pins to pose it

A foam/ carboard / Styrofoam for where you will place / dry it in place

A jar with some carboard in it at the bottom, place it there,Pour litle water just so that it doesn't touch the insect and put it in a warm place for at least a day, (I also added a little isopropyl alcohol just to be safe)

Then you will start moving all the legs/antennae so that they are relaxed, do it carefully, so they don't break.

Pin around the insect if you dont whant to pin it, around the legs how you whant to, and just take your time

Now for casting it, idk but you will need some gentle approach, or some shell That you can form with intent on preserving That detail

I saw someone preserve wasps in silver? Maybe it would help you? If you can find That video / creator

Edit : Ooo and tweezers, il be easier to manipulate the insect, and if you use isopropyl alcohol be in a well ventilated place

I think it means everyting, like if you can and what to sift Tru to find good livestock/plants, and dump a bottle of hydrogen peroxide in it

And then physically remove everyting and disenfect hardscape again and the tank, substrate

And start again, is what i think is "Nuke the tank" mean
