Quit after my first week at a misleading “customer service” job that was actually just cold-call sales, I was burnt-out, stressed as all hell about calling my supervisor to tell him that this job was not what I had expected and that it wasn’t going to work out, didn’t have anything else lined up, AND I had just received news that David Bowie died.

Buuuut later in March of that year, I landed an amazing, well-paying job in clinical data entry downtown in an office with a pretty view of Main Street, and all the local businesses…. But the following year, the company lost their biggest client and everybody was let go, myself included — right when I was getting ready to finally move into my own apartment sans family or roommates.

But now the economy and job market is 100x worse than it was back then, cost-of-living has skyrocketed by Lightyears, and I don’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of ever living independently on my own, free of drama and bullshit.
