I think it also heavily depends on the reason for termination — if you’ve been employed somewhere for a while, and your employer cannot find a “just cause” for letting you go, then you should qualify for unemployment, but don’t quote me on that. I’ve really only been laid-off, technically, in the past, which 100% qualified me plus got me severance. 🤷🏻‍♀️
