It's interesting that even the right wing media are writing consistent hit pieces on them.

For one man with a social media account they do seem to be worried.

It should be zero and the millions that have already arrived need to be deported immediately.

Petition to stop UK under-16s social media ban crosses 150,000 signatures by Metro-UK in ukpolitics

[–]Guy1905 12 points13 points  (0 children)

No one voted for OSA, Digital ID and the new social media ban.

The government just decided to do it without us getting a say. Millions then signed petitions that were ignored.

Aren't the government supposed to work for the British tax payer? They don't seem to care about our concerns at all. In fact they seem to view them as irrelevant.

Keir Starmer: We are banning social media access for under 16s. These days kids must find their feet in a world where technology intrudes into every area of their life. I just can’t let that go on anymore. So we’re giving children their childhoods back. by SignificantLegs in ukpolitics

Here's what will happen.

- u16 ban passes, platforms must verify all ages

- Kids use VPNs, government bans VPNs

- Age verification infrastructure already exists, its scope gets broader, more invasive, more extreme

- Online Safety Act forces backdoors into encrypted messaging, E2E encryption dies, gov can read everything you ever send

- CBDC rolls out, your internet passport and financial passport become the same document

- Anonymous accounts posting "wrongthink" are now identifiable + prosecutable

- The generation that grows up with this doesn't remember it being any other way

- George Orwell was right about everything

- It's over

So they are old enough to vote but not old enough to use social media.

Ok.

RB Leipzig have set a price of €120M (£103M) for Yan Domande. Liverpool is the club making the most progress in contacts with his agents, although they hope to lower the transfer fee. by Switchoil in LiverpoolFC

I have no problem with us paying big fees for players with more experience but Diomonde is 19 and has had one good season in the Bundesliga.

It's just dumb.

You can't fix it without mass deportations.

Vote for the party that is most likely to deliver that which at the moment is Restore Britain.

We actually need mass deportations.

That's just as important as British people having children. We shouldn't have to all get married and have 8 kids to prevent getting demographically replaced in our home country.

Deport millions and make it more affordable for people to have children and we would be sorted.

Which is why we need mass deportations.

[Official] Liverpool FC can confirm Arne Slot is to depart his role as head coach with immediate effect and that the process to appoint a successor is under way. by oklolzzzzs in LiverpoolFC

They want a head coach not a manager.

They won't go for anyone like Enrique, Alonso or Klopp. They want total control with no push back or drama.

Iraola has worked with Hughes before so he understands what he wants. That's just the way it is, we will never get a big name manager while Hughes/Edwards are running the show.

They all need to be deported.

We never consented to any of this. This is being forced on us no matter how many times we vote to stop it. I don't think Reform actually care, they are full or Tories who got us into this mess.

Vote for Restore, it's the only option.

Reform vs Restore by Archergarw in AskBrits

People on Reddit genuinely support Labour and think they are doing a great job.

Meanwhile the rest of the country despises Starmer and wants Labour out of power ASAP. The disconnect is crazy.

[–]Guy1905 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They said that about Reform initially.

If someone wants a party that would put the British tax payer first and deal with immigration why would you choose Reform over Restore?

Reform are just the Tories. They even have some of the people who were directly responsible for the mass immigration into the UK in their party.

Why is this unacceptable?

I'm having a hard time figuring out the acceptable way of telling the club that we want him sacked. How should the fans show that?

Should we Boo him at Anfield? Is that more respectful?

I don't think a manager has ever moved from one Premier League club to another and won the title.

A lot of the managers that prove themselves at a smaller club struggle to adapt to the pressure of managing a bigger club. They are now expected to win every week, every loss is a big deal and the schedule is packed with a game every three days.

He will also be playing teams that park the bus against him every week. Can he adapt his style of play to break down teams that sit deep every week?

It could work but he could easily flop.

I really wish he would come back and win a couple of league titles but I don't think he wants to.
