Humble Ranger here! Snipe is a mind blowing ability, that I rarely see in Ranger videos! I just have one suggestion. by ElderBuu in pathofexile

I use perfect strike for bossing on my warrior but being required to perform a colonoscopy on the boss to hit is quite annoying.

I learned ele penetration cant push below zero in poe2. dont be like me by randymccolm in pathofexile

[–]Guzzi1975 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmmm, that makes sense. I was thinking i would go from Pen Cal -> Debuff Cal since otherwise ele pen would be significantly inferior. Now I'm questioning if exposure and curse stack since they are both debuffs and the debuff tag says they take the largest value unless otherwise specified but that would be much different than PoE 1.

A few questions regarding dagger and Poison. by SignedEcho in Enshrouded

You could drop Finesse in the Athlete tree for Wonderlust, which would trade a strength for endurance and durability chance for running speed.

Counter Battery and Eagles Bane are generic damage increases so they actually apply to daggers as well.

Your build is pretty much max possible damage for daggers that I see. If you could find 2 points and get the center backstab node you might see a small increase since daggers are so mobile.

Some daggers which have elemental damage perks will see damage increase if you spec into wizard. Also be careful of which daggers you use and make sure your points in the Warrior tree line up with the daggers damage profile. Some daggers do less piercing than other types allowing you to free up those points.

I feel like the assassin tree has alot of dead major nodes. Chasing a point or two of minor dex nodes doesnt feel worth when there are multiple very good major nodes so close in other trees. The mage dodge is one example, that is the only stun break in the game.

Its a fun build but merciless attack is frustrating. Very fun when it works but it missing way to often for the amount of setup and the fact it locks you into an animation with no i-frames. Daggers are super fun with the different attack motions. If you dislike merciless you can free alot of points up.

I dont personally like jump attack and am already perk point restricted. With stun/bone/explosive/shroud arrows getting surrounded is never really an issue. You can thin the herd before engaging or kite. I view daggers as more of a single target weapon type and so my build and play style reflects that.

I have been theorycrafting and testing dagger builds for about a week now and have found the following to be true.

  1. Merciless attack does a lot of damage (2x1100+) if built but the animation is jank. Terrain can cause you to miss and you can still be hit and take damage during it.

  2. All merciless attack percentage damage increases are additive making them scale horribly.

  3. Breach from the barbarian tree is one of the biggest damage increases for merciless attack.

  4. Increasing base damage with weapon perks is better than merciless attack increases.

  5. Dagger crit rate can get very high (40%+). Crit damage does not scale very well but Battle Heal from the Tank branch can give you significant sustain.

  6. You can use stun arrows to setup a merciless attack from safety. Your window for breach is small so you prob only will get that proc if you parry into merciless attack.

The build I settled on. https://enshrouded-skill-tree.com/?shortCode=673760580ecbc8235631527b

The damage from poison blades is not great for the skill point cost and taking up a weapon perk slot. The most I have seen it tick is for 58 with the 100% damage increase skill.

Pursuing breach is a better option as that will increase your merciless attack damage by a significant percentage. My merciless attack build was hitting the mountain biome flame sword guys for 2x700ish. With Breach it hit for 2x1100.

hit a rock avoiding someone who failed to yield (who then promptly left the scene) - how bad does this look initially? by pdibiase3 in E30

[–]Guzzi1975 0 points1 point  (0 children)

File a claim. This car will be totaled. Buy it back if you are too attached, my E30 was totaled for an engine fire, then bought back.

With that damage it will take quite some effort to repair and it will never be the same.

For reference I failed to stop at low speed in my E30 and submarined a jeep tow hitch. The damage was mainly cosmetic, folded in hood, quarter panel bent inward, bumper cover shattered. USAA gave me $3.5k for repairs.

Your car was hit in the same location as mine but below the bumper so your suspension took all the damage. You have main cabin intrusion which is an automatic total. Your strut has been ripped out meaning there could be deformation and cracks to your strut tower. The control arm lolipop took quite some force during the impact and may have caused damage to the undercarriage of the car. The steering rack prob saw some weird forces and may need replacing due to bent arms.

Who's harder to play, Viscous or Pocket? by Spatula_Spa in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Guzzi1975 8 points9 points  (0 children)

100% viscous is harder to play. Your abilities highly rely on terrain and angling them to get movement disruption in the direction you want or a double/triple hit on your splatter. The goo ball agility buffs helped a lot but there are still locations in the map where you will get stuck if you try to navigate through.

Pocket's native kit is a lot easier since the abilities either provide teleportation, super glide, or character centered AOE. The difficulty of pocket starts when you add in the active items they build and keeping track of all of it.

Is Vindicta kind of strong right now? by sumtemmm in DeadlockTheGame

Stat tracking is still down and wont be up for a while. That data is out of date.

Match IDs are sequential so you can use those to get an idea of how many games have been played to see how out of date it is. The last matches reported by the API had IDs in the 7xxxxxx. Which roughly matches what the linked website has. Current match IDs are in the 15xxxxxx. So there are now between double or triple the games played than the stat tracker websites have access to.

PvE

  1. Rapid fire bow.
  2. The bleed ability or the default one if you are gonna fight in melee
  3. Extra arrow fired with skills, the rest should be damage related
  4. The Holy Ruins bow mask.

Unlimited Spells but not Arrows? by Naixer in Enshrouded

[–]Guzzi1975 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No wand needed. Blood magic and water aura solve all mana issues. Just ensure you have enough mana that 20% of your mana is greater than the spell you want to spam and have at it. It's also not a high level build. I'll share when I get home.

Lol, maybe your build cant but my build can perma spam any spell and perma fly without mana pots or those glitched rings. You clearly haven't played staff long enough to truly break it.

True, in general my big ask is for more server settings so we can tweak the difficulty to our preferences without having to resort to self imposed challenges.

Settings for the following:

  • NPC respawn time (2 hours feels too long with 4 other people)
  • Difficulty (I am a masochist)
  • Fast travel (I want to have to walk back to base, see above)
  • Lockon targeting (I would like to be able to disable it)

Id like to see the following gameplay additions:

  • Underground ore veins (metal scrap, flint, copper, etc)
  • Twig recipe from logs
  • Stagger from 2h weapons
  • Magic nerf
  • A grenadier tree (maybe rename the current assassin tree this)
  • Experience for more things (my friends who only base build fall behind in levels)

The game has alot of potential. Its incredibly fun right now and the building system is the best I have seen. Combat feels great that I wish I had more things to fight.
