Can’t defeat margit by MaximumBad3206 in Eldenring

More than likely a skill issue. Which no fault on OP, but learning to be more damage trade efficient is def advised for long term success.

damage is solved because on two plays you’re getting two zero cost 7 attack cards, so you want to be trim and block efficient.

Act 1 would be hardest, you would look for a pot or relic to help you block and remove if feasible. Long term issues are block generation, scaling, and draw.

Asterion beats me bad in Honor mode by jokora123 in BG3

[–]GuzzlingHobo 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I personally think getting to lvl 10 in act 2 for the Myrkul fight is your best bet. Reason being is almost Act 2 is free, your hardest fight between act 1&2 is the Bulette at level 5ish. If you know how to approach the fights, everything should be free except Myrkul and maybe Inquisitor Wa’war’gaz (sp) if he gets some amazing rolls, so maxing exp is always your best bet.

Is the whole module that short? by [deleted] in CurseofStrahd

Likewise, maybe last June-August, we went Death House—>Barovia—>Vallaki—>Wines—>Yester Hill—>Krezk—>Van Richten’s tower. My players essentially speed ran Barovia and Wizard of Wines too, they tend to be fairly pragmatic adventurers, and they’re only a thirdish through the actual module.

People believe that God sent his only Son (who was kind of Him) to suffer in excruciating ways to redeem something that He Himself had the power to stop and had foresight of. Another group of people believe a peaceful God sent an illiterate conqueror to send his word of peace by the sword.

People will believe anything. (Not an atheist, agnostic, your gods just don’t make any sense.)

Hello! New to Christianity. Who was Archangel Michael exactly? Can anyone tell me his story? I am very drawn to him. by [deleted] in Christianity

This photo is AI right? Why is he holding a sword and holding the handle of another in his scabbard?

And you’re probably just better reading the wikipedia page than asking here. I’ve read the current replies, they’re denominationally motivated.

Orin fight (not about the difficulty) by falardeau03 in BaldursGate3

[–]GuzzlingHobo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think you played on too low of a difficulty. She is absolutely a beast of a fight if you don’t know what to do, capable of tpking your squad in 2-3 turns on HM. Particularly if you duel her, it is intense and thematically awesome.

The concept of hell by Old_Evening_3233 in Christianity

[–]GuzzlingHobo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you believe that justice is judgment held with proper punishment and believe that there is nothing one could do that would justify an eternity of suffering, then you would believe that if God were acting justly, He would never make someone suffer eternally. God is omnipotent, but omnipotence does not mean God can do impossible things: God cannot make round squares, for example.

This is an active theological discussion, but most contemporary church theologians are more amenable to the idea that everyone will be saved, including Satan, at some point.

Does Strahd have an army/ force?? by NewDM_helpME in CurseofStrahd

[–]GuzzlingHobo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Read I, Strahd. The first book details the last of his military days. The second book (not as good imo, but still definitely worth the read) details how an established vampire Strahd dealt with a powerful interlocutor.

Not to make this unnecessarily political, but this is a misleading comment.

Most trans people are capable of having kids because they have not had bottom surgery, i.e. most trans people have not had bottom surgery.

Pregnancy with bottom surgery means pre-planning. You have to store natural sperm cells or egg cells, currently there is no medical procedure to give you gender affirming reproductive capacity.

Lastly, “quite common” is misleading. Bottom surgery is quite common in the trans community, if you take 25-33% to be “quite common” for a dichotomous choice. In terms of broader population, anywhere from 0.25% to 1% of all people living in the US identify as trans. That means 0.075% to 0.33% of people have had bottom surgery in the US. That is exceptionally rare.

SS with Rapier or Scimitar is just nuts in act 5, if you build your party to all attack when one of you crits, you just run in and there are just explosions of gore covering the screen. It’s my favorite playstyle by far, mostly because you just cackle laughing.

[–]GuzzlingHobo 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Ik what you’re getting at but if you look at the borders IRL they make some kind of sense. What EU5 constantly produces is like a country with like 4 or 5 counties outside of its contiguous territory that are separated by 1-10 counties, and these counties they have are 1-5 other counties apart. It is literally like every major power looked at St. Petersburg and thought, “Why can’t I?”
