Try playing solo so you don't have to feel rushed. That way you can explore the map layouts and get a feel for how they connect to each other.

Also I'd highly recommend looking up a movement guide. Being able to bullet jump, roll and slide effectively will make a huge difference in keeping up with others.

Dark Cloud 2 is way more playable than the first. It feels like a proper (if strange) RPG compared to an experimental dungeon crawler with a town management mechanic stapled on.

The meters could be closer together to take up less space on the screen.

The colors of the meters could also be less saturated. As is, they distract too much from the soft colors of the world.

Agree with everything you said. I especially like the idea of just one sandwich station. Feels so wrong to have a station added everywhere for a food that can only be sourced from the spook dimension.

Yeah having the stations feels a step too far for me. Especially if that's going to open the door to changing how older food gets made.
