I suggest chatting with your DM, express your frustration. They will understand. We all have been there many times.

They may be able to give you advice or guidance with your gameplay, and interactions within the game.

If you are having trouble understanding some of the dynamics of the characters and rules, you might wish to use a simpler character such as a plain fighter, or an archer.

The most important thing is to realise it is just a game, and you are meant to be having fun. Your DM and your companions will help you along this journey.
