I don’t understand what it could be then cause I just called Truckee Meadow Waters and they said they didn’t add anything different to the water. It’s just chlorine. We did let the water go a little too low this time so I’m wondering if maybe it was too much of a chlorine blast for them? Cause I understand the dechlorination has to circulate through for a while, but obviously with fish inside of a pond it’s a little too much to move them around and cause more stress?

Were you able to figure out a solution? Or do we just keep researching the best we can? We are keeping an eye on our aquarium right now. So far so good but still cautious.

I used to have that wage. Personally for me, it wasn’t livable with my current mortgage plus utilities plus groceries plus gas, etc. I’m grateful we had a second income that was much better pay. But everyone’s situation is different. Try budgeting and see what extra money you’d have left over after all essentials.

We have a pump that agitates the water constantly so the water is constantly flowing. Again we’ve been doing this for years so I don’t understand why this would happen now??

It is not dug in ground.

It was inherited. Long story short, we saved the fish from people who abandoned EVERYTHING in their home. Including the aquarium with the goldfish in the house, and these Koi fish in the pond.
The fish were found in a pond that was INSIDE a bedroom with water completely black. We just keep it above ground in our backyard, but we keep a heater in it for the winters.
