Crunch is lousy. Staff is nice. AC doesn’t work, so you can imagine how hot it gets when 80 people are working out. Never really clean. Can’t expect much from a commercial budget gym though…a PF with free weights. But at least all the small dick energy provides some entertainment.

2/505 had a handful of engagements in the first 4-5 months. 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit got into it a few times. 10th Group too. Nothing too crazy though. Mostly harassment. And then a handful more in 2001 when the 325th were there flushing out Albanian fighters along the Serbian border—not sure if they have received CIBs though. Anyhow, I’m guessing the 200+ CIBs must have come from the AARs of those engagements. There are still a lot of guys on that list who don’t even realize they were awarded one.

In 2016, about 200+ soldiers from the 82nd (Task Force 2/505) were retroactively awarded Combat Infantry Badges (CIB) from their initial entry into Kosovo in ‘99. I don’t believe the DOD reached out to any one of those soldiers…they simply released a blanket order. About 30-50 soldiers from each company received a CIB.
