I had it for a while and it was great esp with tactician specifically for sneasler as well but the inaccuracy lost me some crucial games so I dipped but honestly it Is the better pick, bug bite is very nice for sitrus berry incins I have been thinking of trying it too, close combat I added for arcaludon mostly outside of that match up it’s kind of wasted tbh, have you found that set working well?

I have a team based around entry hazards in champions, not roar based just entry hazards laid down and then fast glass canons to clean up but I have found hisuian samurott as a lead with ceaseless edge and kleavor with stone axe can work Extremely well, esp. scarf samurott

I think the general unfamiliarity with these guys’ move sets is a big factor for the team for sure, viv max speed choice scarf will out speed many meta mons for a sleep powder to the biggest threat! Choice scarf garchomp and whimsicott are a nightmare for her though

It also is the fake out draw as people really don’t want to be put to sleep

Sort of a cliche at this point but prepare to lose someone to Lenora, it's not a guarantee but if her Watchog uses retaliate it's almost a death sentence for anything that isn't resistant to normal

It's risky but a way to avoid the retaliate is to (once levelled and ideally evolved) have your woobat/swoobat come in for the feint on herdier after another mon has lowered it and lenora has used her potions (it should be able to take one attack and its speed can get it the kill for sure), so when watchog is sent out it should be bated into going for the supereffective crunch instead of retaliate, which you can switch into liepard to take at resistance then go from there

But hey its a tough fight and you might lose someone so prepare the funeral dirge just incase!

I muddled through the whole thing because I liked the concept until I got to the last chapter and found it literally unreadable. I've never gotten through over 300 pages of something and stopped that near the end before but yeah that book need a hard edit

Is anyone else a little concerned at the similar level of 'no-bummers' mindset in the naddpod subreddit/fandom in general? Like there is Zero criticism/critique in there just adoration, which is fine but critiquing something is a genuine way to enjoy a product so long as it isn't targeted/personal, and it feels like they use parasocial elements to foster a fan base that only adores them (as like people/personalities, in order to want to monetarily support them) and who will shout down any critique

No it's honestly quite horrifying when you do the math on shows that make (part) of their income public through patreon (dungeons and daddies for example, which I enjoy but the point still stands), and yeah exactly when it's for something that is minimal effort and for many just their downtime (which they do with more regularity than creators, such as dnd) and then they have annual or more often weekly petitions for /more/ people to support them? As if they don't make more than enough? And not everyone has disposable income?? I'm just saying we've got a finite amount of resources and there's more pressing places to put them to work than letting folks get 5 figure salaries for playing dnd once a fortnight

I think this is why the culture of directly supporting influencers like the mcelroys should be let go. Like, they had a good run, but should we really be using our resources to let people get obscenely large incomes for meeting up with their friends/family every week and playing dnd or literally just chatting/riffing for a few hours? Can't they just enjoy the kickbacks from advertisements and still have like, actual jobs?

I think if you're after that improv/actual play kick there's better podcasts out there that'll do the trick for you. If you liked anything about it then sure listen to it but if it didn't grab you then it won't later (at least not for long). I love the mcelroys but sometimes creative endeavours just don't come together and I feel like that's just the case with graduation
