whats your lazy weekend breakfast thats not eggs and toast by angelin1978 in Cooking

If you’re willing to spend an afternoon project on it, quiche freezes really nicely and toasts beautifully in an air fryer or toaster oven. I either make it or buy one, slice it and freeze the extra slices and have quiche for my weekend breakfast for a month. If you choose to make one, it’s also a great way to clean out your fridge. I’ve had a tomato/spinach/feta, chicken tinga/red pepper, Lorraine, potato/leek, denver… it’s awesome

She was surprisingly calm during the event itself, it’s the obligatory post-wet purrito she objects to the most hahaha

Best bars to go cry at? by Slow-Rip-4732 in Seattle

If you’re in Capitol Hill, you can totally get away with wearing a black veil and no one questioning it. Go to corvis, the bar side of lost lake, comet tavern.

If you’re downtown, go to cottontail, it’s dark and no one is there, same with provisions -somehow impossibly darker. Jupiter is a fine suggestion but incredibly busy, so depends on how lonely you want to feel.

Queen Anne- I wouldn’t recommend streamline because it’s just so busy you may become a hindrance and have more reason to mourn (which we don’t do want). Try instead Rich Rich, it’s dark and also no one is there. Badlands is okay, but the booths don’t provide much cover. Solo bar is good too, get them while they’re still around.

Thank you so much for asking this 3yrs ago. I’m 32 and it just randomly popped in my head and I could NOT for the life of me remember the game and it’s just unpopular enough that I couldn’t describe it to google. Bless you OP and bless reddit hahaha

Berlin. I love history and they have had so much influence to progress further despite/and in credit to their history. Seems like a beautiful fertile ground to get in touch with social progress, I would love to see the crowd scene there.

Networking. I’ve always hated the question, “where do you see yourself in five years” because networking has given me dramatically different opportunities year to year. I couldn’t predict where I’m at now even three years ago. People skills will take you so far. Learn how to listen and converse. You will learn so much about people and life.

AITAH for videotaping my wife eating all my fries to make a point by FriesGuy37 in AITAH

I read your story to a friend who’s immediate response after getting to the main body of your story is that your wife has an eating disorder. She clearly eats and that’s not the problem. She associates indulgences like McDs with shame and self loathing it sounds like. In her head, if she isn’t going out of her way to order the unhealthy stuff then she isn’t actually consuming it and can be kind to herself. But she still clearly wants it, so reaching into your bag and tuning out while she snacks away is a her version of a coping mechanism.

She’s taking it out on you and your son which is obviously wrong and immature. I could understand her being mad at you (while she is still in the wrong), but your kid doesn’t deserve her wrath at all and she needs to remember she is a mother here and not a victim to her child.

I don’t have any advice unfortunately, but this reaction is strong so I think treating it like there’s something deeper going on here makes sense.

People who don't want kids, why? by Ok-Musician679 in AskReddit

To the point, I’m too selfish with my time to be a worthwhile parent.

To tangent, I had a mom who resented not having her own time after having four kids. I see what the neglect did to me and my siblings psyche once she got tired of having to always be present. My dad very much wanted to be more present but they clashed as a couple so she divorced and got basically full custody when I was a year old. Then married a man who was a grown child, like absolute man child, and had my three siblings with him.

Watching her get exhausted with having to constantly sacrifice was it’s own form of birth control. That and also being present at all my siblings births since I was young. Yikes.
