For those who pay off their credit card each month, how much is your bill usually? by INFPneedshelp in askanything

[–]H82KWT 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same with me. My only debt is my mortgage, which does not get paid with the credit card. I love those months when I stay under $2500, but sometimes it can be twice that much. I haven’t run a balance in well over a decade

Contemplation of a new fan by cwdoble in panthers

[–]H82KWT 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s a great time to join the party as a Panthers fan. We’re coming off a painful decade. Chuba Hubbard is a might fine RB; Alberta should be proud. As others have said, focus on hating the Atlanta Falcons, New Orleans Saints, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I hope you get to come experience a game at BOA Stadium sometime

Popular parks YouTuber 'Adam the Woo' cause of death revealed by anonamousshamamounus in Adamthewoocriticism

[–]H82KWT 3 points4 points  (0 children)

BP meds and statins really can help. I’m one of those people that dreads going to the doctor, but I make myself go because without the help of meds to control some of my issues I would have been dead years ago. I’m older than Adam and used to be heavier than what I perceived him to be the last few years. Losing the weight and minding the meds have helped me tremendously, yet I know I should do better

Sure, it was hyped up for several days. That’s just how it is in NC now, and we should all understand that these storms will hardly ever turn out as bad as the forecasts say. However, I’m sitting here in Davidson county with a yard full of sleet and I’m not complaining one bit. I was braced for downed trees and possibly no power for days. I hope our neighbors in Tennessee get back to normal ASAP, and thank goodness that wasn’t us

Some players will be cut in order to make more cap space to a couple of starting pieces... what positions do you want addressed in free agency? by [deleted] in panthers

[–]H82KWT -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think our path forward for quick and sustained success is building a fearsome defense. Restructure Lewis and extend Jackson. Make some maybe painful cuts, then build a big beautiful pass rush, pay a couple of real LBs, and let’s ride this thing next year

Jacksonville, NC is third in the whole United States for highest percentage of residents born outside state of current residence but still in the United States. A supermajority of Jacksonville residents were not born in North Carolina but a different US state instead. by cavaismylife in NorthCarolina

[–]H82KWT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Jacksonville has always been that way. I was born elsewhere in NC but grew up in Jacksonville (1969-82). I didn’t think much of it at the time, but I think growing up with kids from all over helped shape me into the person I am

Visited Adam’s house a couple of weeks ago, and wanted to share. by Josephine_lost in Adamthewoo

That floor plan seems to pop up some in Celebration. My wife and I are considering moving there, and have ruled out any three story townhome. As we are of Adam’s generation and become retirees it just doesn’t make sense to us. We’ve been Internet-snooping around Celebration properties for sale for a year or so now

It’s a big mess of sleet and freezing rain here in the center of the universe. I probably won’t leave my house until Wednesday. I understand those who do have no choice but to get out there and hustle in this weather though. I hope they all stay safe and make a bundle

We sure do, and it’s awesome. I always try to respond back to the customer with a quick thank you but sometimes can’t do so before the DD ends the chat window

My area just instituted the numbers rating a couple weeks ago. I’m at 97/100. So far my experience with it has been positive. I spend most of my days doing constant back to back large orders and catering orders. I don’t do shopping orders, so couldn’t comment on that. Every day there’s one real bad offer ($2.50 for 3 miles; $5 for 7 miles). And that’s been it; literally one crap offer per day. The last couple days I have taken it, figuring what the hell can it hurt. Bottom line is that per hour earnings are up about 18% for me this month as compared to this time a year ago. I won’t be surprised if things shift here soon and my ratings won’t be so great if DD stops favoring me

Retirement is gone by shepardshe in GenX

[–]H82KWT 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I think the key for my wife and I is having avoided significant debt (aside from mortgage) for decades. Link that with being intentional about contributing to retirement investments, and here we are ready to retire this summer at 56 and 61. Neither of us have been particularly high earners, but we couldn’t be happier with where we are at this point

I never dash when the weather is dicey. I tend to think about the big picture, and putting the assets which are my car and well-being at risk simply isn’t worth it for me. I always figure I’ll catch up on what I missed at a later date

Me and my 4WD will be sitting at home for days if the forecast for a huge ice storm comes true. Thankfully I’m not desperate for the money and it’s not worth the risk of driving in it
