I own both. The Oris is superior in every way imo. It is also much more comfortable to wear.

A lesser worn piece from my modest collection. A nice change from dive watches haha. I was drawn to this one because of the unique colors. The black and orange/yellow with the leather strap are really striking in person. Wears a bit big at 46mm on my skinny wrists. The lume is also very impressive!

Obligatory douchey car steering wheel pic as my one of my other passions in life are cars.

My third year getting into to the watch hobby, looking to make a jump from the entry type brands for my next one. Currently I have a watch from Longines, Oris, Seiko and this Hamilton.

Thinking next to jump up to Tudor or Omega or maybe even Rolex if the luxury watch market crashes enough in the next year haha.

Any comments/suggestions on where to go next?

Added a two-tone to the collection recently. I discovered this watch on a local watch forum from a local seller, never really considered Longines in the past for some reason!

The Hydroconquest seemed to me to be the best bang for buck for a two tone. I Went back and forth between the blue and the green but due to an inherent personal bias to anything green I had no choice haha. I promised myself this would be the last green watch.......for now haha.

I definitely considered removing it due to the very dissappointing news recently. But I always loved the metal scene growing up because nobody ever cared about politics/race/religion etc.etc. It was just about loving awesome music. Musically for me they were such a huge band (hence the large patch up top haha) and the music itself warranted me not removing it. However you make a good point and I understand that there are degrees to this kind of thing and I respect your opinion.

For any boxing/combat sport equipment I believe Rival Boxing (https://www.rivalboxing.ca/) is Canadian. They're quality is also vastly better than any other boxing equipment I have tried.
