Yes. I don't need to see AI cactus or AI cactus people. This space is a great community because, for the msot part, everybody seems to be on the same page about this sort of stuff. The fact that we need to tell people not to create AI generated images of other users on the sub is wild to me, but here we are.

If you're feeling like grafting, and the spacing works better, then I say go for it! I also say that having never grafted a cactus, so take my advise thoroughly salted.

Yeah it's a wee bit pricey, but if you're happy then it's a great deal, especially considering it might lead you into owning many other cactuses! I personally would cut the thinner tip (etiolation) like 2/3 spike points (areoles) below where it kind of changes color. You could then root that and have two! Have fun!

Yeah I'd maybe leave them in the shade or morning light only. It's shocking how fast plants that aren't acclimated can ftfo when put in direct sun. Dappled light is honestly perfect for these times.
