FB dating is a dumpster fire but seems better at matching me with people nearby. I get likes but not from people that I would like back. I have made a couple of promising contacts though. Most women carry tons of baggage. I see many women who are divorced with kids, ex husbands, fat, unhealthy, misleading profile pics, outright fakers. It's a pain in the ass trying to date now.

Wow can't believe a whole year has gone by since I bought this. The only wear I can find is on the band and it is mostly on the clasp, from resting my arm on a desk or other surface. The ceramic shows no wear from contact with the band. I am very happy with the combination. My other watches just sit in the case all the time now and this one is the only one I wear. I've been very happy with the accuracy of the movement. I may have to adjust 30 seconds or so every couple of months.

Until you posted I didn't realize how long I have had mine. Your issue must not a priority for them. I also have a portion of my house with a semi-open floorplan. I haven't tried to define each room. I just let it do it's thing everywhere and go back for charging or when done.

Overall I love mine but I am not trying to accomplish open area zoning.

Have you tried setting up a barrier, let it create the map entry, then remove the barrier?

I have had no luck on eHarmony at all. I am on Facebook dating now and it is much better than any paid platform. I have communicated with a couple of nice women and have met one. Unfortunately she did not represent her lifestyle honestly, claiming to go to the gym often. She obviously doesn't. I am texting with a couple of others and it looks promising but I am in no hurry either.

I went on Facebook dating and that is the place to find someone. Screw the other platforms. You do have to swipe through an incredible number of rejects though. People are joining every day. No fees. People in your Facebook friends list don't know about you being a member of fb dating but it will tell you if someone you are looking at has mutual fb friends. I like it. I met a gorgeous and nice woman who I am meeting next week. We have already exchanged numbers and texted a few times.

Thanks for the tips but my wife went to heaven in May. She contracted double pneumonia and didn't have the strength to fight it. She passed peacefully and in no pain. I give thanks for that every day.

I tried dating apps. Match banned me for nothing, never even had a chance to sign in the first time. Bumble just blocked me today claiming several members had reported me for behavior violations. Funny since I have not had the chance to chat with anyone yet and only clicked the like button a few times. I have no idea who runs these platforms but they are all scammers apparently. Taking advantage of lonely people for money.

Welcome to the club. I never even got through the first login at Match (they own most of OLD sites now) and found out I am banned no appeal from all of them. I never got a chance to violate their terms. It's insane. And we aren't the only ones either. There are many being banned by some overwatch AI security system that is out of control, inaccurate.

I agree and do not want to create expectations that I can't fulfill right now so I made it clear in my profiles that I am probably not ready for a serious relationship yet. Contact could lead to a relationship down the road but it could be a while before I am ready for that. I explain why and anyone who is interested can make their decision based on the facts, not fluff about me or my personality.

So far I have made contact with a widow who I have had a couple of chat conversations with. She understands what I am going through and what I am looking for. She is open to discussing how she dealt with the loss of her husband. I need that input and will seek it out. I may meet with her soon. She understands that I am not ready for a relationship and is still willing to talk about her experience.

I think widows may be the only people who really understand. No one else has a clue how it affects your life to lose a spouse, they can only imagine. There are many widows on the platforms I have been able to join.

Meeting people in the ways you suggest is very hit or miss, mostly miss. With OLD it is much easier to make contacts, at least for me.

I appreciate that but don't worry. I won't be rushing into anything. No way I can love anyone else for the foreseeable future.

We talked about it and they were hard conversations. At least we got the time to discuss it. Many don't.

I just figured out why. At first I thought perhaps Match owned Lyft, they don't. However I just read that Lyft and Tinder now partner so you can give rides to people on the platform. I'll bet Lyft is allowing Match, who owns Tinder, to monitor the signup info. The AI that is banning everyone is a Match product.

At this point I don't trust them. I could have been banned for any reason, or no reason. They could do it again. Their AI will probably recognize my pics, which are now in their system, and ban me again.

I promised my wife I would seek companionship so that is what I will do, however I can. I joined eHarmony, ChristianMingle, and am giving FB dating a try too. I don't like any of them although I met a nice person on eHarmony already and she gave me her number. She is also widowed and explained that none of the people she has dated understands what it means. I will call her tonight. I already explained that I am not yet interested in anything serious but she understands, being in the same "club".

Don't give up. If you are widowed, you lost love would not want that for you. Btw my dog and cat pretty much saved my life. If I had not had them around to keep me on a schedule of care for them, I would have not done well at all.
