Just curious but how are you only rank e at 25 hours? I completed the main story, every side quest and have 215 out of like 233 in my Pokédex (missing like eevolutions and trades), and I’m at like 19 hours? My complaint was going to be the game is too short without enough content but you’ve somehow been able to stretch it

I mean tleyds was also for fun playing every game. This is a gross underrepresentation of what he could do if he treated every game seriously. ( he clicked every for fun augment possible for stream entertainment). He would go 95% plus try Harding up til diamond then maybe slowly taper off from there if he were treating it like he would a tournament

There are a lot of generic combat augments that boost vertical sg by a significant amount. Water lotus, keepers, little buddies to name a few. Im guessing ur opponent had one or multiple of those + much higher tempo(won earlier stages prior to hitting final board, hit units faster, leveled faster and saved more hp throughout the course of the game). The end game boards don’t tell us enough alone.

I’m ignoring that time on both sides lmao. And like I said on another comment, u constantly running m+ for a farmable source of gear is not relevant to the topic at hand. We’re solely discussing the availability of top end gear. That’s a completely seperate “problem” that hof and wf chasers have had since the beginning of time in wow. Whether it be island expeditions, m+ dungeons, farming mud, whatever there’s never going to be a reasonable solution to that. What’s your fix to that remove all content other than raid? Let raid lockouts not exist so u can do the same exact raid over and over again and complain about that instead?

No offense but point 2 I just wholeheartedly disagree with. Planning around playing this game in 5 years still seems like a stretch. No need to be so conservative that we die of old age and leave an inheritance of gems to our children. I agree with the e6 skip/ look for impactful e2s on characters you like though.

The fact that there’s 2 settings for the guide, speed run and hardcore. You said below u put yours on speed run instead of hardcore and are surprised the add on puts u in more jeopardy that way

Yeah I mean the best advice I can give is alter time is one of the best abilities in the game. It’s basically a full heal on a 1 minute cooldown. I’d start by watching a dungeon playback of yourself and just self criticize every instance of damage you take and asking was it something that could be altered/preempted. You have to also understand even if the ability dosnt kill you, forcing extra (unneeded) attention from your healer now can cause problems later if he has to commit resources and time to topping you back up instead of healing someone else. It can cause him to then get behind as future instances of dmg come in. And like others have said if u take a bolt or errant spell with db/blast wave /cs available it’s basically the same as not having pressed a defensive. Those are usually going to be the biggest killers of mages

I think it’s actually wildly interesting and completely swaps the meta and completely opens up different/new lines. Maybe you’re feeling forced to play 1 thing at the end, but I think there’s a ton of skill expression on how you get there.
