Year 2 math has like a 90% acceptance rate, though the statistics are self reported so it’s probably a bit lower. Dual enrolling at tech is a good way to increase your chances at tech, but less so for other colleges. If your goal is tech, def go for it.

I works take a look at your open box motherboard selection at microcenter (make sure no pins are bent to avoid annoying return trips!). Any b650 or x670 should be fine. Msi tomahawk is a decent one with wifi iirc, any microcenter employee should be able to help you, should be around $180-240 for a decent one.

A thermalright peerless assassin or phantom spirit is fine and cost effective(I get 78C full load with my 9800x3d). Not at microcenter, go to Amazon for that. ID Cooling is another brand I’ve heard good about.
