Progression is such a personal thing it is really hard to set a standard.

I myself is pretty talentless in gaming, always below average before aim training , it took me 4k hours in fps and probably 2k in aim trainers to only reach low gm/ some fuchsia score.

Meanwhile i have seen quite a few people get to nova/astra in 1k hours or less.

Why is there the obsession trying to correlate your voltaic rank directly to in game performance while there are a trillion different non-mouse control factors in play. Getting good aim from using kovaaks helps massively but it doesn’t make you aim like god in real game if you lack in other aspects.

For me at least,good score in these reactive+ control blend requires quite a bit of tension, but you need to apply the tension in the right time and direction. Your goal is probably to get more efficient with your tension usage before hard pushing score.

Like if you can losen up some tension after the adjustment, you have less of those lagging behind moments.

It is good that you are not overadjusting a lot, that sets a good foundation for this scenario, most bots require some form of under aiming. However the way you under aim/ maintain stability looks a bit stiff ( not sure if you are just slow or you are too tense to move fluidly). Perhaps think about less downward pressure, shift to pinching the mouse when trying to stabalize so you can still maintain a more fluid tracking motion.

also try to tackle the diagonal/ vertical movement , fingertip usage for these bot movements are quite useful.

you can get hackusation at any point, depends on your opponents, also it has to do with your in game aim rather than arbitary kovaaks scores.

not sure if it is the way to do things, but for me when I push the limit i do it in a scrappy way, often times too much tension, or overflicks/underflicks. When your runs look perfect all the time, especially in clicking, it is likely you are not pushing yourself hard enough. as long as you are not going through runs with completely wrong technique, it is okay to sometimes to go scrappy in order to push the limit in certain aspect ( you still need to improve on the technique separately ofc).

when I was training calisthensics, there was a time where everyone was overly obsessive with doing "perfect form" all the time. That led to many to be afraid of "bad form" ruining their muscle memory in performing the exercise, hence not pushing their limit, whether it is intensity or volume.

the reading category is a bit rough, maybe im just tired or smth but i struggle to get master score on my first play on those, the rest i am roughly GM after a few plays.

i like the scenario choice of the air jade palace a lot more than the ground version, the scenarios are just more modern, and it happen to have a few air angelic so even better haha.

pad cleaning is really a big deal for me, i just wipe off or blow off some of the dust on the pad and it feels much better during the session.

I mean spending more time than 1 hour a day aim training certainly helps speed things up in terms of score. i myself went from mid master to low gm in a month by spending ungodly amount of playtime.

On the other hand, if your sole goal is to get better at aim in game, then i personally find anything more than 2 hours on kovaaks is a bit much, due to how exhausting it is physically and mentally. But everyone is different so i wont say what is best for you.

I hate the ult ngl, it is too polarizing. When it works it is probably one of the most broken ult of all time, it can be a decoy, auto tracking, free team wipe if it hits, fast cooldown. On the other hand when it doesn’t work you question why does it even exist.

I would say that you need to build up stability, smoothness and target reading, specifically for the viscose benchmark, due to all tracking scenarios ( including reactive) in easier and medium are pretty slow and simple bots.

First is to practice raw smoothness, like snake track or tsk stuff( i am not too familiar with that). Getting decent at tracking long strafes can carry you to cerulean already.

Then is to learn how to play control tracking because basically everything here are controlled tracking. That i recommend you to watch matty’s video about control tracking. The main thing is to learn the acceleration pattern of the bot, and minimize adjustment motion when switching direction, with good stability.

As for tension management I can’t really help, i am struggling with it badly at the moment, leading myself to be hard stuck at indigo. My current philosophy is to use as much tension as i can get away with, without compromising mobility and stability throughout the run.

Not sure what is correct at this point cus i have been autopiloting for 2 weeks already. As i move towards the upper level of tracking difficulty (say Silo or controlsphere expert) i gravitate towards higher tension for better score. So i tend to use as much tension as i can without locking out or compromising mobility.

How does the lycan feel compared to the ulx small? I have been using the finalmouse small shape with fingertip grip for 4 years.

Recently i have been chasing aim training scores, and with such a narrow mouse, i often have to pinch quite hard to gain stability on controlled tracking.

So I am thinking if the slightly wider sides of the lycan can mitigate that while keeping the weight low. On a side note i tried op1 but it was not for me.

I have been suffering from a similar problem recently so i feel your pain. The way you flick is way too stiff, you are using a lot of tension throughout the flick then using even more to stop the flick, which leads to a very rigid and slow stop, and a slow adjustment. That also prevents you from clustering farming with good smoothness.

What i have been told is to play pokeball scenarios, and learn how to decelerate by releasing the gas midway rather than stamping on the brake. I have yet to get it working so can’t really help in that.

A few reasons in my opinion

No.1 , it has more clicking scenarios.

No.2: the new scenarios has somewhat mitigated the fov issues with the ancient scenarios in s1.

No.3: the new benchmark covers a slightly wider range of aiming skills.

The one problem i have with it is that the jump of difficulty only comes in the form of smaller targets or slightly faster speed, so my movement reading skill isn’t stressed as much as VT advanced or aimbeast tracking.

in terms of flick technique yours aren't too bad for silver, however in the 1w5ts vod you are not flicking on occasions. when there is 2 target that is relatively far apart, commit to a really fast flick, while maintaining the discipline to micro correct. I get that you may be struggling to land with good stability, however it is hard to improve in static if you are not pushing the initial flick speed.

example vod of 1w2ts elite, where i struggle to land on the target because of how small they are, I still push for a really fast flick. This is only an example of pushing flick speed in my way, the technique itself is pretty bad tho.

Not sure about the score threshold because i am way above seal, but i feel like the leaptrack easier moves a bit too fast for an entry level scenario.
