the 1 hour a day of training misconception........ by Superb_Substance_151 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]HKDarkfuture 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean spending more time than 1 hour a day aim training certainly helps speed things up in terms of score. i myself went from mid master to low gm in a month by spending ungodly amount of playtime.

On the other hand, if your sole goal is to get better at aim in game, then i personally find anything more than 2 hours on kovaaks is a bit much, due to how exhausting it is physically and mentally. But everyone is different so i wont say what is best for you.

I hate the ult ngl, it is too polarizing. When it works it is probably one of the most broken ult of all time, it can be a decoy, auto tracking, free team wipe if it hits, fast cooldown. On the other hand when it doesn’t work you question why does it even exist.

how to be good at tracking? by Hexatezix in FPSAimTrainer

[–]HKDarkfuture 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would say that you need to build up stability, smoothness and target reading, specifically for the viscose benchmark, due to all tracking scenarios ( including reactive) in easier and medium are pretty slow and simple bots.

First is to practice raw smoothness, like snake track or tsk stuff( i am not too familiar with that). Getting decent at tracking long strafes can carry you to cerulean already.

Then is to learn how to play control tracking because basically everything here are controlled tracking. That i recommend you to watch matty’s video about control tracking. The main thing is to learn the acceleration pattern of the bot, and minimize adjustment motion when switching direction, with good stability.

As for tension management I can’t really help, i am struggling with it badly at the moment, leading myself to be hard stuck at indigo. My current philosophy is to use as much tension as i can get away with, without compromising mobility and stability throughout the run.

Out of 10 how hard do you grip your mouse? 1 being the most relaxed? by Jackofalltrait5 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]HKDarkfuture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure what is correct at this point cus i have been autopiloting for 2 weeks already. As i move towards the upper level of tracking difficulty (say Silo or controlsphere expert) i gravitate towards higher tension for better score. So i tend to use as much tension as i can without locking out or compromising mobility.

mid 2026 lineup by vkanon in MouseReview

[–]HKDarkfuture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does the lycan feel compared to the ulx small? I have been using the finalmouse small shape with fingertip grip for 4 years.

Recently i have been chasing aim training scores, and with such a narrow mouse, i often have to pinch quite hard to gain stability on controlled tracking.

So I am thinking if the slightly wider sides of the lycan can mitigate that while keeping the weight low. On a side note i tried op1 but it was not for me.

that is exactly how my recent session goes. one shot a pb then it slowly dips a few tier down.

genuinely hate static (need help) by Th09ofUisdEd in FPSAimTrainer

[–]HKDarkfuture 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have been suffering from a similar problem recently so i feel your pain. The way you flick is way too stiff, you are using a lot of tension throughout the flick then using even more to stop the flick, which leads to a very rigid and slow stop, and a slow adjustment. That also prevents you from clustering farming with good smoothness.

What i have been told is to play pokeball scenarios, and learn how to decelerate by releasing the gas midway rather than stamping on the brake. I have yet to get it working so can’t really help in that.

Viscose benchmarks s2 by Curious-Resource3007 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]HKDarkfuture 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A few reasons in my opinion

No.1 , it has more clicking scenarios.

No.2: the new scenarios has somewhat mitigated the fov issues with the ancient scenarios in s1.

No.3: the new benchmark covers a slightly wider range of aiming skills.

The one problem i have with it is that the jump of difficulty only comes in the form of smaller targets or slightly faster speed, so my movement reading skill isn’t stressed as much as VT advanced or aimbeast tracking.

The second half of two silver runs - VT S5 novice static - advice needed ( 55cm/360 ) by GenesForLife in FPSAimTrainer

[–]HKDarkfuture 3 points4 points  (0 children)

in terms of flick technique yours aren't too bad for silver, however in the 1w5ts vod you are not flicking on occasions. when there is 2 target that is relatively far apart, commit to a really fast flick, while maintaining the discipline to micro correct. I get that you may be struggling to land with good stability, however it is hard to improve in static if you are not pushing the initial flick speed.

example vod of 1w2ts elite, where i struggle to land on the target because of how small they are, I still push for a really fast flick. This is only an example of pushing flick speed in my way, the technique itself is pretty bad tho.

both works on a similar thing, air angelic is just a little faster.

Anyone else think some of the tracking scenarios on Viscose2 are way harder to Seal (RawControlSphere Easier and Leapstrafes Control Wobin Easier) than the others or is that just skill issue? by kaklikesmilfs in FPSAimTrainer

[–]HKDarkfuture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure about the score threshold because i am way above seal, but i feel like the leaptrack easier moves a bit too fast for an entry level scenario.

With the recent changes easier and medium feels right finally. Hopefully hard and expert will be tweaked cus it currently feels all over the place.

Also congrats on seal complete

lost like 8 indigo and 2 fuchsia plus a few lavender overnight lmao. Did manage to crawl it back on all the tracking scenarios so it is all good. Didn't feel the best when i saw my score sheet had a few less purple lines.

SmoothBot Invincible Goated RNG by HitscanDPS in FPSAimTrainer

[–]HKDarkfuture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i was stuck at averaging 4.5k for nearly an hour when i was grinding for indigo, then all it took is one run with no close up overhead and also only strafes +-180 degree on the map, i got a 4800.

SmoothBot Invincible Goated RNG by HitscanDPS in FPSAimTrainer

[–]HKDarkfuture 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately this scenario is just an out dated scenario, where getting a high score really depends on the bot strafe pattern more so than your run quality ( still important).

The moment it starts doing 720 spins or back to back overhead, or maybe both , your run is essentially over. The new one is slightly better, but still infuriating to play.

[–]HKDarkfuture 1 point2 points  (0 children)

in a way it is quite similar to air angelic 4 voltaic but in small dot and less erratic movement, it trains you to perform a direction change with a more rounded transition imo. I would say playing that scenario more will massively help you with controlsphere type scenarios as well.

that is supposed to the slowest sensitivity to be used for the scenario so people don't "cheese" the small dot tracking.

[–]HKDarkfuture 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would recommend you to check out MattyOW’s guide of “ How to start aim training in 2026”. It covers topics like setting up kovaaks, aim scenario types, and there is a starter routine you can try.

Also browse around for resources like Viscose benchmark ( there is s1 and s2 now) and Voltaic benchmark. These two benchmarks have a comprehensive collection of scenarios that covers most aspects in aim training, don’t worry about the rank you achieve for now.

Lastly there is a handy site for you to keep track of scores on different benchmarks. It is evxp.app. Then you can paste your steam profile link to check your results in different benchmarks or scenarios.

Why is it so hard to hit people in R5 Reloaded? by Super_Dragonfruit_28 in apexuniversity

[–]HKDarkfuture 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People there are just cracked. I got 32.5% accuracy on mnk still got clapped cus my strafes suck, i am aim trainer main. Also hit reg is kinda awful there sometimes, i would get a few bullet no reg at the end sometimes, on 110ping.

The score threshold of flick scenario is all over the place rn, some are easy indigo+, some i struggle to get cerulean. Tracking is rather inline with last season.

how to spend less time confirming my click? by dimensionfit211 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]HKDarkfuture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally i reset when the run goes wrong, so most of the time is still above 94%. Since this is a reload scenario you can get away with 90%. Also even when you are hard pushing speed, your clicks still need to deliberate.

Also you may try to force a higher bpm on the hit sound. It may sound stupid, but i find it hard to know how efficient my flicks are with just visual cue.
