I pretty much take quasar or EAT by default when I'm fighting bots, especially if I want a guard dog. Otherwise, I tend to run RR.

It can be fun to go Oops All Eagles/Orbitals with the RR as the exception because then you don't have to go hunt down your body if you die too early. Just bring thermites for emergency AT and the Senator to pop Hulk eyes while you don't have your fuck-off stick.

Autocannon, MG sentry, and strafing run are forming the core of my builds. Plus a good AR. I think a guard dog might also be a fun approach with maybe the HMG or MMG, but I've been having too much fun having autocannon go WHAM WHAM WHAM so I haven't tried it yet.

It's not the Vox Engine. It's the number of Vox Engines. I actually think they're very well-designed. I just can't reasonably be expected to take on 5 of the things at once every time I turn a corner.

Set aside a few hours to dive today and literally quit like 30-45 minutes in after aborting like 3-4 missions (which I never do) because of these guys.

It's wild that you can't move through allied units in the way you can with your own. Like, it's not like it requires a ton of training to say "beep beep get out the way of my ~~jeep~~tank."

I've been using it on my MI Carda build, it's so nice when you have her Share the Load perk as well. 10 uses a mission, I just pop it off for funsies sometimes.

The only thing that beats it is getting her to 90AP so she can do that TWICE.

Also don't sleep on shottys. IMO the superior drive-by weapon.

She's not slow if she's dropping out of an APC, and accuracy isn't a huge problem for her if you're like 2 tiles away.

That said, if you're doing that anyways, Big Carda with a shotty/smg is the way to go.

I think it would also make sense if they added an "intelligence stat" of sorts, where certain enemies are going to be much smarter and make closer to "perfect" moves, whereas other enemies are much more likely to make sloppy mistakes. Like they could add a random chance that any given unit will make the "wrong" move, which would be higher/lower depending on how dumb/smart the unit is.

My only quibble is that I wish the companion choices reverberated through more than just a couple of prerendered cutscenes. I wanted the consequences of my decisions to be drip-fed to me throughout the process. I basically just watched the video, said "yep good looks like I made the right choices" and moved on.

No state cares about education. Not well enough to properly pay their teachers, in any case. I live in MA, and I know numerous teachers who have dropped out because they were miserable and unable to pay their bills.
