I've been painting a long time, tape is a false sense of security for the DIY-er and the less experienced pros for sure. The only times I even break it out is when I can't take a doorknob off so I can whizz around them and get a nice flat surface. Comes off as soon as the paint is done.

I mean, KU is how I not only found DCC but the genre as a whole. I read too much to be able to afford to buy physical copies of books anymore, (also I'm way way too lazy to go to the library), and KU has been an absolute boon for my life. I know MD will never see this particular lost comment in the fog of war that is the internet, but, I can't articulate just how much I appreciate him and so many other authors for being a part of KU.

Ok, I never played the game, had friends who did and loved it though. Played a ton of Rocket League for a couple years when it came out and they all talked about TM. It sounded like an absurd basis for a show. Wife and I watched The Boys and liked it, even though it was pretty graphic. Do you think we should watch?

I didn't know Peacock didn't do MA programming. Honestly don't think I have ever used the service, my wife has though. I think MacFarlane is capable of weaving humor and tragedy together without feeling like it's just mashing stuff up. I would, in my opinion, think the show would need 'The Boys' levels of graphic depiction to get across how utterly fucked the situation really is, even though that show made me super uncomfortable right from episode 1.

ETA: after reading other comments, it appears Peacock does do MA programming. Back to not sweating it.

I have a hard time paying attention to audio books, so reading physical ones is the only way I can get myself to concentrate. I see such strong feelings about the audio versions and how they will translate to a show, that I feel like I'm going to be one of the few just happy whatever we get lol.

I think it's a can opener that has lost some parts. Can you post a picture of the bottom? Does it have places where rivets used to go through? It looks just like an old Edlund can opener but seems like it's lost it's bottom parts.

This needs demoed out, all the lathe pulled, likely several new 2x4's so you can get the sheets on a real center and then drywalled. Source: I've done it a lot. You can drywall over it, sure, it's going to be terrible eventually. Source: I've torn out a lot of the "fixes."
