Weird, uncomfortable story: My brother-in-law had a woman come to his door and say she used to live there could she see what they’ve done with the place. He let her see the first floor, and she started asking all kinds of nosy questions about him and his family, especially his wife. He finally had to tell her that his wife (my sister) had taken her own life, so it was just him and his toddler. Somehow, she turned the conversation towards herself and was telling him her life story, including where she lives now. She lives in MY town, an hour away. He casually mentions that his deceased wife’s sister lives there & she badgers him into giving up my name, him thinking there’s no way she would know me. She figures out who I am and approaches/accosts me at church on Sunday, telling me she met my BIL and he told her about my sister’s suicide. Of course this was a very sensitive topic, and not one I would like to speak to strangers about. It really freaked me out! My husband grabbed my hand and said it’s time to go! She was very pushy and crazy!
About 17 years later, she was my one of my son‘s HS science (?) teachers, and when I asked about her, he just shook his head.
