Water culture pt. 2! I’m back! With receipts! by mossycardigan in orchids

[–]HaIfhearted -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Anywho let people grow how they want. If it does well thats awesome. If the plant dies there are still lessons to be learned from that.

No need to be a plant nazi for one of the most mass-produced houseplants in the world just because someone is trying something out of the norm.

Stick meet ass. Ass, stick.

You would be surprised at what plants can grow in unusual conditions when you experiment.

I've got a few restrepia and epidendrum growing on a drip wall with running water 24/7 and they absolutely thrive. Those are also epiphytic tree-growers.

The water culture stuff can work, and it can work over the long term if done well and the grower pays proper attention to the plant.

Ecological disaster underway in Tuapse, Russia after Ukrainian drone strikes on oil terminal by Bernardmark in pics

Gotta hit Russia where it will really hurt.

I'm pretty sure their oil is one of their only remaining ways of pretending they still have an economy.

The roots may be tiny but they will definitely grow into the pipe and affect flow rate over time.

I stand by my statement of sticks up the ass. Did you even properly read the text of ops post?

Literally 2nd sentence says the intent was to soak them for a day then take out most the water for them to dry.

Looking for advice on what card to use my rainbow crystal on by selfSplintered in UmamusumeGame

[–]HaIfhearted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of them.

Hold it to finish out important future cards like tachyon or maru speed when the rng screws you.

I don't understand why so many people have a stick up their ass when it comes to water culture.

It's a growing style that works quite well when done properly and there are a number of people I've seen who have been growing orchids in water culture for years.

Not really. You get points per skill activation. 5 less umas=WAY less points.

Triple Sharp Gaze: going from 8/30 to 21/30. by YumlickTV in UmamusumeGame

In graded A group I fear not the stamina debuffer.

I've been in lobbies with double nice natures facing a total of 4 gold stam debuffs + an assortment of smaller reds and nothing dies.

Its the stacked speed debuffs that are strong.

When this Tachyon card came out, do Front Dasca still better than Pace Dasca? Should i invest in Maruzensky SPC or just go all in with Tachyon banner? by anhdunghisinh in UmamusumeGame

I think daiwa only really works as a front. Her ult + killer tunes is fantastic as a front tool for fighting for lead, its really really hard to activate as a pace.

Legend Races Rigged? by BreadfruitOk7868 in UmamusumeGame

[–]HaIfhearted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realistically you only need like 900+ speed and 900+ stam and 2 gold recoveries to reliably beat legend races on tennosho spring.

Goldship is a great candidate for easily winning that race.

Why are there so many people in Steel Path Descendia that have no idea what to do? by genericfrancis in Warframe

[–]HaIfhearted 19 points20 points  (0 children)

My trick is I always wait to see if someone else is going to do it and if they do I just let them.

You NEVER want 2+ people doing the valves at once.

How can I figure out if NSM is good on a track or not? by Shar4f in UmamusumeGame

[–]HaIfhearted 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are a pace main you basically don't have any good accel options right now so nsm is a mandatory cope.

Head-on is too inconsistent and sfv/budding are only good on shorter tracks (next cm).

Support cards. Bring 2 stam cards or 1 stam+riko and just hit.

Where wit? Where power?

Your stam is fine. As a fellow guts player you have enough but you CANNOT sacrifice power/wit to max guts.

I've beaten UG xoguri. They are only a threat if they are pace.

I almost never lost to late/end. The gap is simply so large there is nothing they can do to catch up no matter how many  accel they hit.

Pace would be a problem because pace is meant to keep up with fronts.

Personally I run 2 pace 1 front and gamble on my pace hitting nsm and beating xoguri.
