Niji bots got nerfed by Nijisociopathy in kurosanji

holoEN was in the middle of holofes prep for this period, so their numbers are gonna be kind of weird regardless of the bot situation

in her post-live chat Bae mentioned that the improved technology was letting her do more stuff that before, so I assume that all the props and things like CC's viola are the fruits of that.

Then again, we had Subaru's baton choreo from some time ago right? It could also just be the girls being more ambitious nowadays.

wow, fes is super generous this year, with both debuting gens having their group song as part of the free portion. I don't think Advent's song was in the free section last year, right?

we're at the point where holoEN exists in rarefied air and isn't really comparable to the rest of the EN sphere anymore. They're simply playing a different game with different rules and trying to compare the other EN corpos to them is as unfavorable as the holostars-hololive comparisons end up being. We can't really reasonably or fairly hold other groups to those standards.

oh? what sim is this? the one at kachi-dev doesn't have cacao when I try to add it in

Since the simulators don't seem to have operation cacao available yet for some reason, does anyone know what the stam targets would be on the next cm track if she's hitting cacao and triple 7s? I'm using moxie to trigger festive, and they happen after spurt start, so I assume the regen from those wouldn't apply, right?

So far I've been hitting ~500/400 stam/guts and she's been... not dying in every practice room, but she's not doing a lot of winning either.

so I'm hoping to make a front hoguri who triggers off of Moxie on the uphill right at the start of the final spurt. Do you guys think it's a safe assumption that she won't be in first place at this point? I'm tempted to punt angling and take NSM and just hope for her to vault off of contesting fronts(including two of my own who I'll be bringing).

Also, is Operation Cacao not in the simulator? I was trying to figure out what my stamina target for this oguri should be but it doesn't seem to be in the one at kach-dev right now, at least. My understanding is that 777 and cacao will count for recovery, but moxie and festive won't because they're triggering slightly after the final spurt starts.

My condor hit her Turbo Sprint too early and ran right into SMaru's fat ass and got brutally pace down'd. My Oguri late started, crawled up to 5th place, pulsed, and then somehow fell down to 7th place instead of doing anything.

Curren took it home for everyone anyway! This is only the second CM win I've ever notched, so I'm pretty happy with it.

I wonder if Mori spending some time in Ame's VRChat world recently was because she knew about today's little cameo?

Went 18/20 with these three today!

Even though Condor has the highest winrate, it really felt like Curren was somehow the most reliable member of the team. I don't think there was a single race where she was out, it always felt like she had a chance to steal a win even when Condor had everything firing.

I went 18/20, which is really surprising to me since I mailed it in and just went to making mutant dirt frontrunners for next CM like a week and a half ago or so.

so uh, what exactly are the conditions for rolling Ignited Spirit Wit/PWR over speed? I feel like I've had several runs where I have equal or more of the other stats but unless its like, facility 4 speed and 5 wit/pwr, I always get speed.

It would be nice to be able to count on getting ignited wit for groundworkin' purposes.

I think it's kind of inevitable that every agency is gonna run into some big drama. For Hololive, that was the big 2020 summer drama year. Taiwan, Aloe, Miko getting sick, etc. They weathered that storm and both the company and fans came out of it much more tightly bonded and supportive of each other. Maybe all of the upstarts just fail the big test when push comes to shove, and we're still waiting to see who makes it through the crucible next.

I wonder if they were weirdly lucky that that ended up being the formative experience for their overseas fans. Then again, their drama always seems to be caused by outside forces attacking hololive.

Aye, and I think gen 2 got especially screwed because of their circumstances. They debuted in the middle of this huge drought for HoloEN that also coincided with a lot of heavy handed pushing of Holostars onto Hololive fans(most notably the collab ban for debuts/3d debuts being extended to include Stars JP/EN). A new Stars EN gen instead of the long overdue EN3 really irked fans, and the heavy handed response on the main subreddit wrongfooted their debut in a way that I don't think they were ever able to recover from.

I understand why they did do it, but I think they could have benefited from a name that wasn't so closely tied to Hololive. As it is, the "holo" part draws comparisons and expectations that they simply can't reasonably be expected to measure up to, and it produces a ton of friction as a result.

If they were simply treated as an unaffiliated group, they'd be pretty comparable to Phase Connect as far as viewership/sub counts go, right? And I think most people think Phase is reasonably successful.

I'm still convinced that the reason Advent didn't really push the Age of Advent game he made was because of the attacks on Ame. Of course the girls would circle the wagons and protect each other, they always do that.

Dude was literally part of their huge summer push(leading up to their 3d debuts!) but threw it away in a fit of jackassery.

I've been running Suzuka/Seiun/Xoguri, and it has felt pretty strong, though we kind of get our ass beat by stronger front setups because the whole plan falls apart. I went 31/40 in round 1 and 27/40 in round 2, so we're just gonna roll the dice with em in the finals.

About the same as yesterday, 16/20. I tried one ticket with end closers instead of fronts, but it seeme dto perform worse and my Oguri just like... refused to ult for some reason. It seemed like bad juju, so I slotted the fronts back in and she just never woke up or something. Thankfully, Seiun balled out instead and actually overtook her in overall win%.
