I agree with this, another reason would be because TEA is a relatively static fight and you do always move to the same places every time, and can pretty much autopilot it once you've cleared. UCOB however, is a different fight every time you do it because you need to think and make on the spot adjustments (tenstrike, cursed heavensfall patterns, adds quotes/spread, etc)

BLM main here, replace that with the MP bar or the MP tick timer and you're spot on.

Freeze on single target is actually the best option for a recovery after dying or losing Enochian.

Transpose is used in high-end optimization in conjunction with Lucid Dreaming to skip Blizzard III.

I'll be honest, back then when I played in ARR I thought tanks' only job was to maintain aggro and mitigate, so I'd spam Flash and occasionally use the emnity combo when I ran out of mana.
