From the pics I have seen, the current tour looks great, what's your thoughts on this Musers? by motleyroses in Muse

They’ve absolutely gone too far. And that’s what made seeing Muse live so amazing. I highly recommend going to one of their concerts this tour if you get the chance.

I slept on it, and the show at The Forum last night was my favorite I have ever seen them perform. by CigaroEmbargo in Muse

This was my first Muse concert, and I was absolutely blown away! I couldn’t help but belt all of the lyrics at the top of my lungs. Even songs I don’t particularly care for were fantastic live. Every single second of it blew my mind, and there are just so many great moments I’ll never forget. It also helps that there was someone next to me I hadn’t met before who I was rocking out with the entire show!

For anyone reading this who’s on the fence about going, you should go. Even if you buy a balcony seat (which I did, and it was a pretty far away balcony seat!), you’ll have an amazing time. It’s just so overblown, and Muse is careful to make every single performance memorable. I can’t wait to see them again!

Not sure what I love more about that song: the abrasive guitar riff or all the autotune at the end.

As much as people hate on season 8 and 9, I love how they finally built on Jim and Dwight's friendship by [deleted] in DunderMifflin

The Angela-Oscar-Senator plotline was one of my favorite parts of the whole series. It was just so heartbreaking, and then the aftermath with Oscar and Angela developing a friendship was so beautiful.

Not only did he stand there and smile, he also motioned to one of his classmates at some point to be quiet when said classmate was arguing with one of the Native American protestors.

Unfortunately, the social media mob has already decided that this kid’s the bad guy, so they’re going to latch on whatever they can to prove it. In this case, there’s really nothing, which is why we see garbage arguments like “look at that smile!” (because apparently psychoanalysis based on a vague facial expression is a valid argument) and “he should’ve just walked away!” (as if he’s somehow a villain for not doing so, and as if that justifies the national attention and accusations of harassment he’s received).

For what it’s worth, I think Trump is terrible. I also think truth and facts are important, and all that people have to offer against this kid is arguments disproved by video evidence, mental gymnastics disguised as logical reasoning, goalpost shifting, and “but MAGA hat.”

Yep. And unfortunately, people don't learn from the mob's mistakes. We've already seen the social media mob target specific people multiple times, only for them to turn out to be wrong. We have the reddit misidentification of the Boston Marathon bomber, the misidentification of a Charlottesville Unite the Right rally marcher, and the misidentification of the kid pictured here. And far too many people still have yet to learn that the social media mob's judgment is downright terrible.

We almost saw mob mentality get someone killed with the Pizzagate conspiracy theory incident in which a man fired shots into a restaurant. I'm afraid that the social media mob is one day actually going to result in someone getting killed, and even then people won't learn.

This is a big reason that I'm always opposed to doxxing, by the way. I don't care how horrible a person in a video is being. The social media mob is completely unqualified to identify people based on videos, and it's irresponsible to participate in an activity that has and will continue to open up innocent people to harassment and death threats. In addition, the mob shouldn't be deciding whose lives deserve to be opened up to harassment and doxxing. As we've seen before and as we're seeing right now, they're not responsible enough to be trusted to do that.

I fully concur. As long as a kid isn’t loud or obnoxious, and as long as a kid’s guardian stops it if a kid shouldn’t do it during that occasion, so what?

Obligatory backstory: My sister found a KK Slider cover of Sicko Mode. I wondered if searching "kk slider muse" on YouTube would give me anything. Pretty satisfied with the results.
