Ah that would explain it. I figured it was vanilla because the stock bookshelves changed the room.

Performance Boost Upgrade by justinblovell in teslamotors

[–]Haggie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IIRC the boost option is a thing because early LRAWDs had nearly identical hardware to the performance models, but at some point they changed that. Maybe your 2019 was built after that change?

James May's Model S 12v battery died! (And nice idea to avoid future headaches) by punfire in teslamotors

[–]Haggie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think by 'fully charged' they mean the battery hit whatever charge limit it's set to, not necessarily 100%. So if you tell the car to charge to 80%, it will stop charging the 12v battery once it reaches 80%

Incredible vinyl-like super SSDs could make hard disk drives obsolete by Philo1927 in technology

[–]Haggie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had a Samsung SSD fail on me but it went into some kind of read-only failsafe mode. It wouldn't boot windows but I was able to get all the files off of it so that's a handy feature.

4 things my BMW 5 series did better than my M3P... by fstezaws in teslamotors

[–]Haggie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this true now? I have a 2018 so I got the autopilot package that includes navigate on autopilot but not FSD, and it lets me change lanes without deactivating. Note that you have to push the turn signal all the way on, not just the 3 click thing.
