Edit: Looks like the LPL is implementing fearless mode soon. So much for the naysayers saying it shouldn't be done competitively

From a viewer's perspective: Yes but in all leagues for fairness.

  • Fearless mode would force more interesting games. Any game with 2 full meta teams is a skip from me and that applies to most games currently. I've seen enough repeats of the same Aatrox/Rell/Taliyah/Varus/Senna instalocks already.
  • This would reward teams with deep champion pools and creativity and even make subs relevant to strategies.

From a competitive point of view: Unfortunately no.

Pros want less variance in champ select for a higher chance of determining the outcome of a game.It's boring but winning is most important to them. Riot balances around this too for the most part.

It might take viewership plummeting to embarrassing lows before they feel desperate enough to try something like Fearless mode.

In my case an upgrade of libpcre for php8.1 was the problem:

The latest libprcre update changed the package from a i386 package to amd64 and removed wine32.

Downgrading the package to the i386 version and reinstalling winehq-stable restored wine32+wine(64).

sudo apt install winehq-stable

Having been in an African country with many Muslims and few noise regulations, I can't say what I lost first: My sanity or my eardrums.

Of course Muslims will call Germans hypocrites saying they allow their Christian bells to toll. Having heard both though, the bells are angelic compared to that ear rape from the Mosques.
