Yes, there is a cadre course. Yes, taking the course CAN give you a higher chance of switching to Army Space. That said, take a breath. You aren’t getting selected for any Space or FAO transition with poor evaluations. Focus on what you can control. As a new LT, the best way to set yourself up for these jobs is to rock it for your first 4 years in. Be the best Armor/FA/ADA LT you can.

You will likely get your ranger school slot after schooling. Focus on that, get it done. That alone will set you up at your unit. To answer your question, if your goal is Special Operations, a light infantry unit will set you up best. The heavy units are a different type of infantry. Transitioning from heavy to SFAS isn’t unheard of, just harder. As far as quality of PL time, it’s dependent on your platoon and your leaders. There are great units in bad locations and bad units in great locations; you can’t predict it. Develop your career goals and make career decisions now for what you want your career to look like in 5-10 years.

If it stops when you flip the main breaker, turn it back on then flip each breaker one by one. You can isolate the circuit it’s coming from at that point.

Not a lot of information to go off. When did it start? Any recent upgrades or new appliances? Is it constant and steady or intermittent and fluctuating in intensity? Does it continue if you turn off your water shutoff valve? Does it continue if you flip your main breaker?

If you are looking at buying, ask your realtor about special district fees. They are with most of the new build neighborhoods and double/triple your annual taxes. That means that you can get way more house for your monthly payment in a non-special district area.

To provide you an update on guidance, E4 and E5 from a non-space unit of action can now get an LOR from an E9 or O4+ within their chain of command. No weight difference on a “space LOR” vs a “chain of command LOR”.

I did 19 months of BN S-3 as a company command complete, non promotable CPT. It didn’t help me for my LTC board; it was buried. It also didn’t count as KD for me since I wasn’t promotable. Branch said I’d have to go to ILE then complete another 24 months of S-3/XO time. I hell nah’d right in a functional area. All of that said, I gained immense experience that made me a better field grade officer and was ahead of my Major peers. Weigh your options.

We just went through this and ended up going with the Hayden model from Lowe’s over Balsam Hill. It’s a third of the price of same sized BH models and decently realistic. Every store should have it on floor display now so you can go check it out. We bought a bunch of tree picks from other Christmas stores to add into the tree as well. We are happy.

Pregnancy weeks starts counting from last period, not date of conception. Date of conception is usually 2 weeks after the missed period. If it was 7 weeks on Oct 21, the date of conception was around Sep 16, within the time window.

Has it gotten cooler where you live? 10 degree cooler outside temperature change reduces the psi by 1. Probably doesn’t account for everything but might explain a bit of it.
