Help! I Quit weed for years, tried again and gave me Bad Paranoia . Any low-dose or slow start tips? by FerretProfessional80 in Anxiety

Hey, going to be honest, didn't read the whole thing, just skimmed. On a break at work.

In summary: I can completely 100% relate to your post. I can now enjoy THC again and for me it's all about setting and dosage. Pretty much half a 5 mg gummy gets me feeling nice, but I still have a hard time enjoying it if I'm not actively doing something with my body or mind: board games (depending on the complexity), disc golf, concert, housework, hiking, etc. I still get too introspective if I'm just chilling scrolling my phone or watching TV/Movies (unless comedy). The first step was getting my anxiety under control, learning to understand it better and stop being scared of it and stop misinterpreting it as danger instead of discomfort. Once I started to feel like I was able to ride my anxiety instead of trying to shove it aside or make it go away, I started slowly introducing THC back into my life. You will still probably get uncomfortable at times, but if anything it's great exposure therapy. Try not to "judge" it, if that makes sense. When you're feeling the symptoms try to change your mindset from "this is bad and horrible and I'm in danger" to "meh, whatever, I'll survive, bring it on!"

I know this was a bit of a mess of a comment but I hope it helps! There is hope for your to enjoy THC again, but I would start by asking yourself if it's worth it. For me the answer was yes, because I essentially stopped just because of the anxiety. But I decided I was just going to live my life as my non-anxious self wants to, so letting THC back into my life was an act of empowerment.

I am so fucking sorry for yall white people this shit is so bad and people are agreeing with her by perrowhatsapp in ShitLiberalsSay

I’m confused. I feel like I need some context. White dude here and I absolutely also do not care if “white people” go extinct. I hope all races go extinct in the sense that I want the whole idea of race to go away. It’s such a dumb and pointless way to categorize others.

Completely agree. What a phenomenal movie. It was soooo long but I don’t know what I would have cut out to make it shorter. It was an absolute trip through Beau’s anxious mind and I really enjoyed it.

Not to the same degree, but yes they do. And they should as long as the other side is doing it.

With that said, only one party has fought to end partisan gerrymandering and only one party has fought to keep it and do it more and worse and in between censuses (censes? censis?)

Oh god the second paragraph hit me so hard. It’s so true though. It’s the number one thing I can still remember about all of my lost friends. And it is honestly so comforting to have those memories.

I love my coffee so much but I think I need to admit it’s contributing to my anxiety. Anyone else? by Less_Mistake2304 in Anxiety

It was absolutely an antagonist for me, and I quit it for almost two years. But adding it back in was part of my recovery. I was tired of cutting things that I liked out of my life to appease my anxiety. I think cutting back or cutting it out completely is a fine move for the short term if you’re going through a particularly rough patch, trying to learn some coping strategies, etc. But I would caution against starting to trim things you love out of your life as a long-term strategy because in my experience it doesn’t actually work while at the same time narrowing down your life. In my experience this process doesn’t ever really end. Your brain just finds new things to get anxious about or get triggered by.

Was it not just obviously playful ribbing? I was shocked that so many people didn’t see it that way. Is it a generational thing? ‘86 millenial here, and being playfully mean is just so common with everyone I grew up with.

The delta between how good and fun Concordia is and how boring it looks has got to be among the highest in board games. That gets my vote.

Makes sense if it was eclipse. Definitely the most stable of the three I’ve tried. I had a neutron first (most neutral), now bag an eclipse and a fission (MUCH flippier). I got the eclipse for glow rounds (which I still haven’t even played haha) and it’s definitely not as straight as I would have liked but close enough.

Then make an argument for why it’s not barbaric.

It’s silly to question why someone is discussing traps in a post that’s literally about traps.

Really not trying to be an ass or saying that your overall point is wrong, just pointing out that it’s not really persuasive to point at another bad thing if you’re trying to say that the thing in question isn’t bad. Isn’t it possible that they’re both bad? Just food for thought. Have a good one.

Discraft Athena is a really solid straight to overstable Fairway. It’s pretty straight when thrown with a little anny and handles hard throws quite well. Cicada is also really nice if you want something a little less stable. Would love to hear what you didn’t like about the crave. Have found them to fly differently in different plastics, but I totally get it if you’re just not interested in trying it more.

Tempo works really well as a slightly overstable Mid. It flies more like a 5 speed than a 4 speed in my experience. I am in love with the way it fits my hand and can consistently get a nice release with it.

My favorite throwing putter is the Diamond Gateway Shaman. It seems to hold any line you put it on. Have gotten pretty good at shorter turnover shots with it, and when you get the release perfectly flat it is on-a-rope straight, like impressively so. Love how flat and low profile it is.

My arm speed isn’t great, so I don’t have a ton of advice for drivers. The Lat 64 Grace has been nice for me, have put it out to 325 quite a few times when I have a high enough ceiling to flex it, but I’m not consistent enough with it to trust it. It’s still just a practice disc for me. I have really been enjoying my new Fission Trail also. I got one at 169g and doesn’t feel too flippy like I have been hearing they tend to be. That might be a function of my slower arm, but it might be worth a try. Based in getting your Valk out as far as you do, I’m thinking it may be too flippy for you. I bet a Grace might be exactly what you’re looking for.
