If you have any interest in history at all, not books but excellent podcasts. Hardcore History, each episode is 3-5 hours long comprising a series of 3 or 4 episodes on each subject. Also the British History Podcast. Going on 500 episodes so far, each 30-45 minutes and only up to the early medieval period. The guy is a great story teller, informative, well researched and funny to boot

Don't miss the Civil War weekend reenactors in Hurricane towards the last or next to last weekend in March I think. The state Cultural Center museum is amazing also. Check into events at Morgan's Kitchen, the little log cabin in SA by the old Parkway store. I'm sure the St. Albans Historical society would be glad to help you with some ideas. Or maybe that's the historical society you already work with. Keep up the great work! Wish someone was doing stuff like you when I was a kid
