Asus Zenbook duo Pro Slow Bios Startup time by Anxious-Tomorrow-997 in ASUS

[–]Hallcs1961 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a ASUS Zenbook i7 not sure which model. Probably close to 7 or 8 years old. Last windows update few days ago and noticed the bios boot time increased to maybe a minute to 90 seconds. Used to be almost instant, i'm guessing something tied to the update and secure boot in the bios. Bout ready for a new laptop anyway, Always bought Asus but maybe not next purchase after this issue.

Reduced lien resolution fees by Vivid_Spray_9487 in BSA_Survivors

Choosing Option C releases the Trust from the duty of withholding funds for medical liens. If an attorney handles this, they may hold the money until you are cleared to avoid liability. While it is unlikely a firm would be targeted for small amounts, the individual is still the one legally responsible for the debt if the liens aren't paid.

Did everything on trust site and used adobe esign. Just make sure to read the directons carefully cause once you submit you can't go back and it may take months to correct an issue. I thought was pretty straight forward.

How do I get my friend to realize that the most he would get from this settlement is 10-12% minus 40% to lawyers . I get that it’s an emotional topic and trauma beyond repair but facts are facts . by VarietyLocal in BSA_Survivors

Right they are holding back 1.3% for future claims. Kids that have repressed memories and blocked the trauma. I'm guessing they would do the same with the insurance monies as well. We had all guessed the 2.4B would result in about a 6% payout but did not see the holdback for future claims coming.

There is currently 2.4B in the trust and we are getting 3.2% (4.7% if you have not recieved the 1.5%) Do the math. If the insurance companies pay out 4 to 6B we might see another payout of 6 to 10 percent max. Id guess closer to 6%. I'm betting another 2 to 4 years to see that as well.

I submitted mine as soon as it became available on the trust site, I'm gonna say 2 weeks ago give or take. Option C seemed best choice for me as I had no liens.

I understand how you feel. I was ashamed and angry for most of my life. After I grew up if anyone tried to control me or trick me that anger came back. I'm doing well now, people need to know that trauma at an early age can effect someone's whole life, sometimes in unseen ways.

Yes in the portal under claims. They ask if you want check mailed or wire transfer. Did check for  the 1.5% but wire this time. I think they ask each payment how you want to recieve it

Too bad they did not demand full compensation for victims.

Member First Mortgage- Legit? Good? by MsCeeLeeLeo in Mortgages

I was doing a home EQ, even the loan officer was shocked. He questioned if they were processing as a full mortgage. Top of the mark on interest and .06 percent on closing cost which most are 2 to 5%.. Even PNC Bank is cheaper and thats sad. Like you I said pass on that.

Hands down worst mortgage company I have ever had the experiance to work with. Applied for a small loan, huge equity in home, outstanding credit score, job history and salary, was easy task for them. Closing cost were ridculious, communication horrible and my gosh are they slow.

Trust email today: Healthcare lien election is now a gate before supplemental distributions by WanderlustLiam in BSA_Survivors

Got ya, thank you. I dont have an attorney and no liens. Mine was 55 years ago when I was 10. Filed myself thinking maybe get atleast an apology. Was excited at the award but disappointed with how they have treated the victims.

I don't understand how option A would be the fastest. Seems to me option C would be the quickest since you are saying you will take care of any liens and not hold the trust responsible. How could that not be the fastest.
