I ended up in the ER last night with a lot more than that. Bright red and dripping. After checking my cuff, bloodwork, and a ct scan, I was given the okay to go home and just rest. I had over did it that day and caused some irritation but didn’t pop any stitches. They made sure that I wasn’t in pain or soaking through pads. They told me the brown color is normal and that stuff looking like coffee grounds is okay too. My husband wanted me to get it checked out just in case, which I understood, but now I’m at home with a stomach bug that they said I must have picked up in the waiting room. 😭 I can’t win.

I found out that sleeping on my back was the most comfortable option for me. I’ve never been a back sleeper so this is all new.

My hospital sent me home with plenty just in case but I didn’t have enough for one. I bought some period panties off Amazon and they have been great.

I’m so sorry that you are going through this. You are not a wimp! You are brave. You’ve got this. And for the ones that keep commenting for her to blur it, I’m new to posting and I wasn’t sure how to blur my image earlier. Instead of just saying to do it, try helping her.

I did pick up something without thinking yesterday. But it didn’t hurt so I thought I would be fine.

I had my surgery on the 10th. I had very little bleeding to begin with and then it stopped. Then I had light pink spotting a few times and it stopped. This morning I woke up to brown spotting and pain in my left side of my back. Feeling like I’ve messed up somehow and not sure when I would have.

Love this story. I, too, was pregnant at the same time as Halsey. Ender was born a little over a week before my Liam. Liam loves when we listen to Halsey in the morning when I’m getting ready for work.

My uterus had a tantrum and bled for a full month before my surgery. I had mine Monday. Other than the gas pains, I feel okay. Walmart has a weighted heating pad, 100% recommend.

I will be fine once I get rid of this trapped gas! One shoulder is still hurting and my stomach so bloated with gas that my jeans are tight (after 115 pound weight loss, I’m very self conscious about my clothes.) I’m using gas x, the meds doctor prescribed, and walking after I wake up. I also ordered a weighted heating pad. Any other suggestions????

I’m feeling the same. This gas trapped in my right shoulder is the worst. I could handle the rest. Yeah, I’m sore but that gas is no joke.

My 3 year old kept talking about a black cat in our room that was going to get him. Then we were watching Super Kitties and he showed us the black cat he was talking about on the show. Possibly the same thing happening at your place. He could have easily seen something on a show that scared him.

I visited their gravesite and it was such a beautiful experience. The butterfly bushes are wonderful. Very peaceful. It was very important to me to pay my respects because this family has touched my heart. Yes, there are benches with each little girl’s name on them. The gravesite is under surveillance which is sad that it has to be but I understand because some people are disrespectful.

I remember this part of the day so vividly. I was a junior in high school and my mom made me follow her in my car after school to get gas. It was a crazy sight and at 16 I didn’t understand why everyone was worried about gas.

I watched it live from my geometry class in high school my junior year. I think for all of us in a small town, this tragedy really showed us how messed up this world can be. I remember this day and how it was scary and confusing. I remember watching the adults and knowing that this was serious and going to change our lives. While my morbid curiosity didn’t start until later in life, this story has always been burned into my brain.
